Today I was able to directly talk with the President of the company in person and he took his time to let me know that the company is already looking to future proof their methods and even ask me for my recommendation of what would I as a customer feel comfortable with for a safer transaction. I have full confidence that this company will keep growing and providing for many more customers for the better. They have remedied my concerns and have been cordial and understanding with my unfortunate experience. I have received my first few orders and will get started working on our new floors. Thank you. Old Review for transparency: The reason Im giving them a bad review is that I was told to write down all my card's info because they can't run it until Monday and this day is a Saturday. It seemed very odd that they would ask that and told me they would call me first on Monday before they run it. I waited all day Monday with no callbacks. I called them back Tuesday and was notified that they have already ran my card a while back and will call me back to let me know about my order (I never got a call back). I check my statement and show it was ran the day I came in on Saturday. Today on, Wednesday I checked my statement again and a FRAUDULENT transaction was made to Walmart.com (probably thinking its a safe bet that many people shop there, Not I, online that is). I called my credit card company to inform them about the fraud and to send me a new card. I called back America's Floor Source to ask about my order and about the fraudulent issue. I was told that I would get a call back from my sales person (I have my doubt about getting a call back.

America's FS tells us it's the manufacturer's problem, the manufacturer states the "wear layer" (clear layer over the top) is the only warranted component. Do not buy from AFS, and do not consider LVP, you'll regret it and have to have it replaced.

Re:Work's commitment to building furniture from reclaimed barns is smack on point! I was introduced to this husband-and-wife-run show at a Yelp event showcasing locally run businesses around central Ohio. They know where to look, who to know, and how to make wonderful furniture. Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. "Reduce, reuse, recycle" at its finest! I'm excited that they're working on expanding there work space. Having the front-space addition, they're planning to make a "show room"/ come and try/experience their offerings before you chat and decide on a design. Nice!

She gave us some background on the company and just made us fall in love with what they are doing there in Grandview. We purchased a kitchen cutting board that evening and it truly is my favorite addition to my kitchen. The quality of this cutting board is obvious. It is sturdy and beautiful. We hope to purchase a tall standing mirror in the future. They have many on hand in their workshop that can be viewed if you stop by. We are saving up now for it. We live in a third floor condo downtown so we were thrilled to find a company that came so highly recommended and that had been able to deal with some of the complexities associated with our building. We made a call and they sent someone out to measure our floors. He was very courteous and thorough and made a map of the dimensions. He was able to do it in a way that gave us many options because we could have opted for different flooring for the halls than for the bedrooms, for example. Once he did the mapping, he told us to check out their showroom so we could choose our flooring. We went out to the showroom located in Clintonville area. When we arrived, we met a friendly lady in the showroom who explained all of our options to us. She pulled our file so that when we selected our floor, she was able to give us an estimate. She was very frank with us and I really appreciated it. She was very honest about ways that we could save money and did not push us into more expensive options. She worked with us to get us the best flooring at the best price. We made our selection and they called us about a week later to set up installation. Two gentlemen then came to our place and worked hard at putting in our new carpet. They were very efficient and moved our furniture for us for a small fee so that we didn't have to worry about it. We were super pleased with the end result. Our carpet is beautiful and plush. We will definitely use them again in the future!

I would give The Granite Guy 10 stars if Yelp would let me…read more.. We had a fantastic experience, and would never - ever - work with anyone else again. We've even referred friends + relatives to them (high praise). Our salesman Chad Schirtzinger, his sales manager Chrissy Boasetti, and their fabrication + installation manager Toney Curry were all wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely nice. They have a big selection of slabs, and a huge room of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. We weren't planning to, but found a rem to upgrade the countertop in a half-bath, too. This install was big and challenging - it took 3 huge slabs of matching Quartzite for a giant island and a full-height wall backsplash behind the stove. It took 8 strong men to carry and set the big island slab - I promise we were holding our breath the whole time they were carrying it in. There were a few small hiccups - that's going to happen with a big and complicated job like this. They fixed everything to our satisfaction - no hesitation, no complaints, no problem - they consistently "did the right thing" (which is refreshing and somewhat unusual these days). We kept changing our minds in the design process, and they handled our ideas and frequent changes with expert guidance, kindness and grace. AND... because hard surfaces aren't cheap, and Quartzite is quite expensive (2.5x-3x the cost of granite) - their prices were fair, fair, fair. They were fully 1/3 cheaper than another well-known granite fabricator I've spent a LOT of money with in the past (and never will again). The Granite Guy's prices were fair and reasonable for what we got. I cannot say this strongly enough - we recommend The Granite Guy 100%. 1,000%. 10,000%. Our customer experience with them was awesome and what you'd hope for, their prices were fair, the people are awesome, and we got exactly what we wanted at a price that didn't feel like we were being ripped off (if I show you the quote we got from "those other guys", you'll understand what I mean). This project transformed our kitchen, and our entire home. I've attached pix - check them out. Everyone loves our kitchen now. Working with them was a nightmare. They messed up our main gas line and every time we turn our fireplace on...the carbon monoxide/fire alarms go off. When we shared this the lady said "We are not contractors". Then why in the world are you installing GAS logs into people's homes?? We won't be using them for the rest of our renovation projects.

Our realtor highly recommended America's Floor Source when we expressed interest in updating the…read moreflooring in our condominium that we are preparing to sell. We were given the contact information for John Lowry. We reached out to John via text message, and he got back to us quickly and set up an appointment to meet with us at our condo. John arrived with a large variety of samples, and he made informed recommendations about practical floor options to best update all of the rooms in our condo. During this same visit, John measured all of the rooms and helped us decide on both carpeting and hard flooring in under two hours. Written estimates were provided to us via email before the end of that same day. We were able to schedule installation within a couple of weeks. We probably could have had the installation scheduled even sooner, but we had painting that we had scheduled to complete first. We were no longer living in our condo when the installation occurred. Everyone involved with the installation easily worked with our realtor, who was on-site to grant access to the condo, and with me via telephone. We were very pleased with the final results. I'm sure that the reasonable expense of updating the floors will pay off once our condo goes on the market.
