He stated that work would begin on August 18, 2028, which was also the date my first payment was due. - In the interim, I requested that he also handle the electrical work. He estimated the cost at $1,782, which I paid in full. - Two weeks after August 18 - Mr. Farra informed me that the property had been inspected by the city and that permits were required. I instructed him to proceed with obtaining the necessary permits. - Three weeks later - No permits had been secured, and no work had been performed on the property. - September 17, 2028 - Mr. Farra claimed his electrician was on site and requested that I purchase electrical supplies. - September 22, 2028 - He texted me stating additional wiring was needed. In reality, no electrical work had been performed, and no permits had been pulled. - September 30, 2028 - I met Mr. Farra at Altoona City Code and Inspection to ensure the permit process was initiated. - October 15, 2028 - Mr. Farra sent me another electrical bill for $1,150, later discounted to $750. - November 28th - Mr. Farra falsely claimed the electrical work was completed and had passed inspection. - October 29, 2028 - I confronted him regarding the electrical he claimed to be completed and passed inspection. Nothing was done and no inspection passed. -No electrical work was done until November 8, when he scheduled an inspection for November 12, which failed. - November 9, 2028 - I requested a written plan of completion to provide to my renter, because I was about to loose my contract with the renter. Mr. Farra failed to deliver the plan and did not respond. Since then, I have requested the return of my property keys and a refund of the money paid. Mr. Farra has ignored these requests and continues to avoid accountability, engaging instead in evasive and misleading behavior.

With him being so conscientious about this project I knew my yard was in good hands. Don took an old rugged, rocky, without form drainage ditch and made it look beautiful. He dug out the old sometimes large rocks and created a really nice ditch. He then followed up with laying limestine that look amazing from the beginning to the end. I wanted to have some rocks for myself to outline the top and make the existing structure flow into the new one and he did that for me! After completion of the ditch he then brought in topsoil to cover areas where the equipment was and spread grass seed and straw. We are so pleased with our new back yard!!…read more The wonderful gentlemen from FHE turned our grassy slope into a useable terraced space in just a week! We had a hard-to-mow yard on a hill that we didn't use, and that wasn't drained. Every hard rain resulted in a wet basement. The crew from FHE worked with us for weeks to get plans just right, then they came and worked and made it real! We now have two flat levels with a retaining wall and stairs. We can actually set furniture out now, and the yard is drained properly. They reseeded the lawn and laid down straw before they left. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything looking beautiful! They always made sure I could park where I needed to and could access the back door. They worked around my lilacs and were careful not to disrupt too much. Best of all is the fact that these gentlemen were courteous and spoke well to us and to each other. I didn't have to listen to any garbage or nastiness while they worked. It was an expensive project, but we feel we got good value for what we paid. Yes - gas and materials are pricey right now - that's just the way it is. But these guys did their best to do our project right, and we are thrilled! Me and my husband hired s.meyers to replace a sewer line after they left we noticed the house was…read morecold so we tried the thermostat which did nothing to help i call s.meyers to send a technician out to see what the issue was but before the technician came we decided to trouble shoot the boiler using the owner's manual to see what would cause a new boiler to stop functioning and the manual mentioned a tiny power switch located in the control panel that was turned off intentionally no one else had access to my boiler except the crew that had worked in my home and had knowledge of the cut off switch i nor my husband knew about this switch until we read the manual and it can't turn it self off they tried to sabotage my heating system don't trust them they fix one thing and destroy another as for the sewer line i have no complaints but the boiler is a separate issue use with caution
