The larger dogs are mostly well behaved, and my older dog loves to go to that side. The dog park is always clean, there's a fountain for the dogs to drink water but I bring my own water, and container. My boys only drink spring water. In the summer, or during warmer days, the park has sprinklers, for the dogs to cool off. It's a very lovely park, love the dogs, the amazing pet parents, and dog walkers I meet on each visit!

Only problem, besides the fact that there's not a TON of room to run around, is that it's also pretty close to a really noisy street. If your dog isn't a big fan of huge trucks going to and fro, this might be a problem...then again, it's NYC. You'll pretty much have to go to Central Park or Prospect Park to find something really secluded. Not bad, all in all, especially if the weather's nice.

Cigars ARE a healthy alternative to cigarettes, don't let the mainstream media fool you... you won't catch me with a vape though I'm a grown ass man lol. Halfway through my cigar, the headrush starting to rattle my prefrontal cortex, I stumbled upon this "park." I guess we are using the word "park" as loosely as we are using the term "GOAT" now lol. This triangular "park" probably spans 500 ft in total surface area as it is essentially just a small intersection of 6th Ave and W Broadway. I'd take my estimate with a grain of salt though as Pythagoras had my number in high school geometry aahaahaha. I sat here ripping my cigar on one of the many open benches enjoying the architecture in the skyline, as the Jenga building stands tall watching over the "park." I think if I didn't have severe hyperhidrosis of the hands I would have been an architect. Seems like such an enriching profession, just seeing your work go from drafts on paper to actual buildings must be a beautiful feeling. In my humble and holier-than-thou opinion, staying in on New Years is a life hack and will be a chapter in the book I will continue to draft but never finish. Tribeca Park is small compared to others in the city. It's really just a spot in the middle of an…read moreintersection. The intersection is Broadway though. A nice area. There's lots of things around it. It's located in the middle of Broadway. It usually doesn't have too much going on inside. The attractions around it are what make it a good visit. It's a nice neighborhood to walk around. There's lots of places to eat and shop. It's a good place for a sit. There's usually some kind of art work. It's located near a subway line. It's easy to get to other areas of Manhattan from here. The park is useful for resting.

On a nice sunny day this pier area offers terrific scenery of New Jersey (Hoboken & Jersey City across the water). Plenty of seating with benches and other structures along the way. There is a Science Playground which is a great place to take the kids. Kayaking, green areas, a City Vineyard for food/drinks, and a dog run park too. Great spot to enjoy and relax.

There was hardly anyone there - why would anyone go there in the middle of winter? But I think this may be my most favorite time to visit this part of NYC. It's concrete so I assume it's better for sanitary purposes but I'm sure it's harder on their paws You would think that the city would build a good size dog run in Hudson River Park . I mean they have done a good job in re-doing the whole thing to add tennis courts, basketball courts, bike and running and walking paths.

The view of the Hudson River may make you stay a while and I bet the doggy won't mind at all.

The best thing about George's Run was that it was huge, with plenty of room to run and play--and avoid the inevitable puddles. Now the run has been resurfaced to match First Run at Tompkins Square--meaning drainage will be superb. Unfortunately, they've been building their LEED-certified Green comfort station for the better part of a year, and the dog run is now just an afterthought. "We got really rooked when they moved the dog run," I said to a fellow dog walker. "Yeah," she agreed. You can now enter the run from the street, which is nice, and Kula likes it pretty well--because after all, who is it for anyway?--but I'm very disappointed they moved it from its original location. Kula is always confused when we pass where the old entrance used to be too, and wants to go in.

Though not as big as Stuyvesant Park, it has a relatively big area with benches, lots of dirt, a watering station (that doubles as a pool during hot days), tennis balls and loads and loads of pooper scoopers. Though the dirt/gravel is annoying when you're wearing sandals, let's be honest, you're here so your pooch can have some fun doggy style. There's a lot of rolling, digging, frolicking in makeshift puddles and general enjoyment -- so if your pup just had a bath, well, sorry, but this is what dog's do. We usually come in the mornings when it's a bit quieter and you don't have to fight through the tourists watching the break dancers. Late afternoons bring dozens of pups with their hungover caretakers clutching coffees -- but that makes good people watching for humans and dogs, alike!

This run is now a private-membership dog run; it was decided to start charging a mandatory…read moremembership fee in order to be able to better maintain the run, since voluntary donations were not covering maintenance costs. The fee is low--only about $12 or so a month, I think--but because I don't live in the neighborhood and only currently walk one dog in Tribeca, I can't really swing the membership. Maybe in the future.
