I have been using 10-15 transit for all my transportation in and out of town appointments. I have had EXCELLENT AND BEYOND great services with them. People saying this company is dysfunctional, I think they are the most organized and whom they care about all their clientele safety and address any issues that come up in a very professional manner. I am not pleased with this decision and very disappointed and refuse to use Ottumwa transit for my services. I had received a post card for this company for a free round trip. I didn't think I would need to use it & filed it away. Recently, I did have an occasion to use the service. Mr Rupe was my driver in the AM. He was right on time, very pleasant, wished me a good day, & the vehicle appeared to be very well kept and newer. I didn't get the name of my return driver but he was just as pleasant and right on time. This was a local round trip and without the post card the fare would have been $4. From front door to destination I can't think of a better more reasonable fare. I will recommend this service & I will continue to use it. read more

75% of the interactions I've had with employees of this company have been very negative. Two weeks ago, one of the drivers, whom I won't name because I think he was acting on pressure from the dispatchers or his boss...dropped my Aunt off at her apartment and wouldn't wait the 2-3 minutes it took for my Mom to go get her a wheelchair. My Aunt can not walk or stand for very long due to knee surgery that did not go well for her. She was also standing in fresh snow and ice in her socked feet. She had just returned via 10-15 transit to her home after being discharged from the emergency room. I understand that their drivers have deadlines and I'm sure he had another person to pick up. However, that whole interaction is completely disgusting on 10-15 transits part. I am dumbfounded and absolutely loathe the way that my Aunt was treated. This was my personal complaint. I have an additional complaint. Believe me, if there was ANY other options for transportation services in the Appanoose Iowa area, I'd utilize those services in a heartbeat. Crystal...she's nice. Always friendly. Tori, however, different story. Every time I speak with her, she is nasty, condescending and rude. I understand that your job is stressful but you work in a business where you should maintain professionalism, regardless of how you may feel inconvenienced. I have had so many negative interactions with Tori. Customer Service is a vital part of any company that deals with customers. Her phone etiquette shows a severe lack of character. First off this place is the most dysfunctional place I have ever seen. They usually show up late to addresses sometimes the addresses are not even accurate that they put down for drivers. They can't keep track of which driver is assigned to which person and who picks up who from what destination. The mechanic at this place is a quack he stands around a good majority of the day drinking out of his coffee cup and or is hanging around in the offices bs'ing with everyone. The buses this company has some well over 300,000 miles with other numerous problems like oil leaks, steering out of alignment, wheel bearings going out, air conditioners not working, turn signals not working correctly, tires that are bad or are bald or balding to the point of wanting to explode and severe rust around the main body frame and doors along with cracks, dents, scratches and lights that half work half the time. If truth be know the Iowa DOT probably has not even inspected these buses let alone rode in them. When asked to repair something, the mechanic acts like it's a big chore to do so. He is not ambitious. The main person in charge is the biggest hypocrite ever. He runs around claiming he is some kind of preacher on Sundays but is the most arrogant, unorganized, unprofessional, head hunting piece of crap you will ever meet. If you people thought Pam Ward was bad pfft you are so wrong. You people should be thankful Pam was there. At least when Pam was at this place, things ran smoothly. It's a shame people had to lie on her to get her to resign. Anyways back to the business, some of these buses the gas gauge does not even register full when full. If you do something in this place, believe it the whole place will know by the next day or the next hour its gossip central. It's like a bunch of high school punks who run their mouths about crap they don't know nothin about. If you try to call the boss of this place, half the time let alone most the time he won't answer his phone, yet you could be having an emergency and he would not answer knowing damn well he has his phone turned on, on him, or has his phone sitting at his desk and plainly ignores it. However he will sometimes i repeat sometimes call you back 5 days later saying he missed a call from you, asking you what you wanted. Ummm gee dumby I don't know, that was 5 days ago. Why did you not answer your phone? This person in charge, expects his employees to answer their phones but yet he does not again practice what he preaches. If you answer your phone wrong or wrong in this "oh mighty leaders" terms, he will correct you like a little kid. He will head hunt you if he does not like you. He will make your life hell. He will talk smack about you behind your back even so far as to probably talking about your momma or daddy if he can. He goes by one rule one week the next week he does not. He makes up rules as he goes along then completely forgets half the crap he was following the next week. He will make sure you barely get hours, he will make sure you don't get any runs at this company if he don't like you. He will make you suffer with a measly 25 hour week. Not worth it. This place seriously needs a union however would that change things? Probably not. read more
