When I first made the appointment online, I received a phone call from a pleasant staff member confirming my appointment and walking me through what my next steps would look like if I decided to pursue a treatment plan- no pressure at all, just genuine care and concern, which I loved! After my first visit, I knew this was the place for me. Outside of the wonderful hours of operation (most Chiropractor hours are during the work day), Dr. Marcia is so down to earth, knowledgeable, and attentive to the needs of each and every client. Not only does she make you feel right at home and special when she calls you by name, but she talks you through the adjustments she's making, best practices for you at home, and has a genuine concern for your overall health- she's the absolute best!! I've never been more impressed with customer service- 100% Chiropractic Lake Norman sets the bar in heaven! Literally everyone is so kind, personable, and well-versed in the field. Trying to get into this office has been a struggle from the start. First, the lengthy online intake form was a failure. It shut down several times, using multiple web browsers, forcing me to start over from the beginning each time. After about the 4th or 5th time I gave up because there was never any way to save my current progress at any point in the form. Next, the incessant text messages. I would receive multiple texts from multiple in the office, including the doctor, with the same information again and again. Then, while speaking with someone in the office who called to gather my health details, I had to explain the same things multiple times because the young lady seemed too preoccupied to completely pay attention. Next, I received an "excited to see you tomorrow" text with details about my appointment and yet another link to the intake form asking me to complete the form before my visit. note that when I spoke to the mostly inattentive person on the phone, I told her how I attempted to complete the form several times and it kept failing, and she told me NOT to worry about it because this phone call would answer all of those questions for them. Finally, at 11:45am the day before my 9am appointment, I received a text from the doctor saying "...My scheduling coordinators mixed up my schedule . I will not be able to see you at 9 AM tomorrow. They figured I wasn't gonna fall for their "health plan" so they tried to squeeze out $85 for rescheduling the massage appointment which they didn't mention at all till I showed up! Had a appointment at 10:30. The lady at the front desk was super nice, and the chiropractor was nice as well. But before I even got called back, some lady brings in her loud and annoying poodles. Caution : I found 100% Chiropractic Lake Norman through a Facebook ad. It was a pushy sales experience but I believe in Chiropractic care so it didn't bother me. I bought a 12 adjustment package but before I started my wife also wanted to join. So I changed to the family plan which was a 12 month commitment. The office was supposed to use my initial payment to start the family plan which consisted of 72 adjustments over that period. When we first started going service was great, my family of 5 was in and out in under 30 minutes. After the next month service started to decline as more and more people were getting scheduled. It was just like they were booking more people than the staff can handle.  Then the staff would change often.  There were 2 chiropractors when we started, then one left and Dr Marcia was spread thin because she had to take on all the clients. I was billed every month, even when Dr Marcia shut down for 2 months during the pandemic. She assured me that we will still receive our 72 adjustments because we paid for them with the family plan. Her office charged me for and additional month of service . I brought this to Dr Marcias attention and she completely wrote me off saying she doesn't believe she did because her system keeps track of it, but that she will look into it. I waited to hear back from her about it but never did. I was then charged again the next month and I brought it to her attention. She said she looked at my account and said it was correct.  I asked for a statement of my account and she said she will get it to me soon. It took her over 3 months to get it to me and when I went through and reconciled I was over charged by $1143. I brought in bank statements showing that she billed me and the payments weren't on the statement of my account. She took what I provided her and said she would get with her accountant and look it over. Another 3 months passed by and she said finally acknowledged that she did in fact overcharged me but for only $550 . She then refunded me $540. I told her that was incorrect and she still owed me for the other charges. She just blew me off and insulted me and my family in a crass email. I decided to contact the franchisor and explain the situation to them. After they looked at my account they determined that I was indeed overcharged by $1,143. Since I received a refund of $540 they offered me $309 additional refund. I asked why they aren't giving me a full refund and it turns out they never applied my original purchase of 12 adjustments towards the family plan which was supposed happen. Then she said because I came in after the 12 months had ended they will be charging me for the "extra visits". These weren't extra visits they were the visits I was owed when she shut down for 2 months. Dr Marcia even called me and told me to keep coming in because I had over 6 visits left of my 72. I'm very disappointed with how Dr Marcia has handled this situation and have been very patient trying to work this out but she was not easy to work with. I've looked at other reviews and it appears others have had similar experience. read more

This place is an absolute nightmare. They are sickeningly sweet when they want your money, mediocre once they get your money and when you need to cancel and get a refund, they lie and steal from you and treat you terribly. If you want a reputable chiropractor, this is not the one. Marcia and her team are rude and dishonest and until I receive the money they stole from me, I will make sure everyone knows to avoid them. I had never been adjusted before in my life, and honestly was nervous about it, before I was seen by Dr. Marcia. I've played sports my whole life and was banged up more than I ever knew just looking at it from the surface. After a thorough review of my X-rays, first adjustment and massage I was already sleeping better, breathing easier and had fewer headaches.
