I had looked at so many different r32s and walked away from them and found this one thinking this is a reputable import dealership instead of trying to import one of my own or any of the other ones i came across with visible issues. as anyone would i asked any issues / what was done to the car. it was bone stock they had replaced the turbos with garrett's 2860s (stock size) since the stock ones were shot. i asked if it was compression tested and was told "my mechanic checked it out it starts and runs no need to compression test" I live in new jersey i got the car shipped back to me, took the car out a few times drove it. got some wheels and a new exhaust but really didnt even drive it much before it got cold in nj and the car got put in the garage. the car ran.... but had boosting issues here and there, would start up but hesitant and started to have some start up issues. thought hey maybe just some fueling issues i already planned todo some bolt on upgrades. i brought the car todo some fueling upgrades and ecu and tune time to have some fun with my new car. the shop i go to always does a compression and leak down test to everything before any modifications. cylinders 1,2,and 3 came back really low. so the head gets pulled off and as you can see this engine is not useable for any upgrades and needs to be completely rebuilt. it honestly looks like the engine was flooded at some point and put into this car it had enough compression to run and get sold but definitely not to live long. i understand these are old cars but still when you spend $50000 on a car you expect it to run and not need to rebuild the motor in 4 months. i tried calling to see if maybe they would give me just even a little to get the car running just a gentleman's conversation i just spent 50k on a car that doesn't run even 10/5k towards the motor would of been nice nothing here is cheap but all the owner has to say is SOLD AS IS. just know what you're getting into here! COMPRESSION AND LEAK DOWN TEST EVEVERYTHING!!!!! ask for proof! ask for inspection sheets. there is so much in these amazing cars you can't see and will cost you THOUSANDS after spending THOUSANDS on your dream car from childhood.

I told them I could not come that day and would bring the car the following weekend. I did. Same vehicle. Excellent condition. After they inspected it they offered $8,675. That is $4,400 less, about 34 percent below the figure they used to get me in the door. On the lot they said the $13,075 only counted if I bought a car from them. That was not how the CarGurus offer was presented. They later posted that the online amount comes from a third-party partner, is not a final purchase offer, and only gets confirmed after a physical inspection and current market value. That is a different explanation than what they told me in person. A same-day 34 percent haircut is not mileage, equipment, or the market moving between August 24 and the appointment. If $13,075 was never the offer, do not send it as one. Get a written offer from CarMax or another buyer before you waste the trip. I would not sell a car here.

We immediately notified the dealership of our rescission of sale and demanded a full refund. Despite assurances from the dealership, no refund has been issued. I even traveled back to Miami to meet with the dealership staff who assured me I would hear back from their attorney. This was another in a growing list of commitments not kept by this dealership. We have since filed complaints with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Florida Attorney General, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the Federal Trade Commission. DHSMV has now opened a formal investigation. Super Autos Doral has failed to act in good faith, have refused to communicate through legal counsel as promised, and continues to hold onto our funds with no legal right to do so.
