They have comparables, including a Selmer, on their own Dorsey Music website for up to $17,000. Owner's son acknowledged that it had real value but only offered between $200 and $400. When I pointed out the comparables on his website, the punk got all jerky and said, "Now I don't really want to buy it."

I mentioned off hand that i was curious about it, and had a good conversation with the guy about how it compares to more expensive setups. It's definitely bang for your buck! I picked out some Audio Technica headphones for the trade, and did end up getting the protection plan (the guy was honest and we shared experiences of having headphones snap on us. No upsell, just kept it real). I tried them out for about 2 hours at home, definitely made the right choice! Don't risk facebook marketplace deals. Guitar Center is legit

Do not use this shop's repair service. They only offer warranties on labor, not parts. Also, the shop is extremely unorganized, they will not return phone calls or come anywhere close to completing repairs in the time frame they tell you. They also hire untrustworthy employees who they later use as scapegoats for when you inquire why its taken 4 months for your item to be repaired. I lost nearly 1200 dollars on a TV+repairs because this shop ruined my unit. Also, the owner made some disparaging about Mormons while referring to a former employee.
