I've been there twice and have had a great haircut/beard trim both times. I would recommend this barber shop to anyone.

I have a regular lady that cuts my hair and we only pay $10 plus some tips for 25 yrs. But of course when you pay this cheap she wants to finish your haircut in less than 15 mins because she need a quota of 4-5 people in an hour. So for a change I look for a different one that can do cut my hair and can cut the style I want. My fault was, when I book for appt I forgot to ask how much they charge for haircut. So I just showed up ten mins early before my appt. then they took me and I sit on the third barber chair. While the guy doing my hair, I asked him how much they charge for a haircut. He confidently answered, $25 sir. With no massage or anything at all $25 dollars? Wow! This must be a celebrity barber shop! Probably I paid him talking to me and joking to other people there. When I was done I still gave him $3 tip but I will not come back to this barber shop again. read more

Since I'm still new to the short boy cut that girls wear I'm really particular on where I go to get a cut. While in Paso I googled and yelped the best barber and read reviews and looked at pics at which barbers were great at curs and 13th street came up hand over fist among the the best. Several military Soldiers go there that are Ft. Liggett. David was recommended to me. I had let my hair grow out for 2.5 weeks without a cut to see the growth and thought I was going back to a ceasar #1 all around (north east barber talk) bit when I got In David's chair, he was like....rock this height for awhile and let me clean you up and trim you and fade back. Hey , I'm glad I did. I love the look! With the short cut you can do so many styles within a matter a weeks. Your hair grows so fast without chemical and other damaging things we put in our hair. I recently move into the area, very nice town. I have to say, was definitely surprised when I got the bill after my haircut. I've been in the military for a while and I get a haircut almost every week. I know a little about the service and prices of the industry. Here is my review: It's conveniently located in the downtown shopping district of Paso Robles. For faster service an appointment is needed, they will ask if you have an appointment when you walk in. They only have sitting area for a couple of people so if you don't have an appointment chances are your standing. They do a decent job cutting hair but I've never paid 20 bucks for a haircut. Even with excellent service and a great haircut, I paid less at other places. I want to trust companies that are listed on Yelp to be honest, this barber shop should change there $ which gives the wrong impression to a more truthful $$. read more

My fiancé gets his hair cut here about once a month by Junior. Junior is the only person he trusts because let's face it.. guys are super picky with their hair and he is the absolute best. And even better, he actually works pretty dang fast compared to a lot of other barbers. But at the same time, Junior is still a perfectionist. Just make sure you make an appointment because sometimes they can get super busy! It definitely has the an old school/chill barber vibe going on so if that's what you're looking for, then this is the place for you! read more

Called them left a voicemail waited a day no response. Went on Facebook sent a msg still no response take 30 minutes to drive out of my way to get there for them to tell me they don't do walk ins so if you don't do walk ins don't awnser phones or msgs no point in even wasting your time with these people. read more

I got there just after they opened up and without having to wait Junior gave me a great haircut. He took his time and made sure it was just right. The first time I went the haircut came out good ( reason I'm giving this place two Stars) but trip 2 and 3, never again. I set an appointment up and rushed to make it beforehand, and when I arrive the barber that I was supposed to see was still working on a client. He seemed like he was halfway done meaning my time would have cut into my time. What's the point of making an appointment if the barber can't honor it, plus every time he spoke to someone who wasn't his client, he stopped cutting hair, which is a reason why I'm assuming he wasn't keeping up with his appointment. I ended up leaving after 20 minutes waiting past my appointment. I tried giving the guy the benefit of the doubt and on Monday the day after the super bowl about an hour before my schedule I get a text saying he couldn't make it in and claimed someone in the family was sick. I do recall him saying that he was going to throw a big party for the super bowl, to the point where he cut his Disneyland trip short just to watch the game, so whether it was truly some family member sick or him being drunk still I don't know, but I wouldn't waste my time here. read more

I moved down here in the area recently and didn't know of any good places to get my haircut. I went to Great Clips in Paso which was a huge mistake and they butchered the crap out of my hair. I thought it may have been just the one or two people that just sucked at doing hair, but it wasn't. It was actually a consistent butch job every time I went by multiple people. They had no idea how to take care of men's hair. Anyways,I was referred here recently to get my haircut by a barber named David and the guy changed my life forever! He asked me how I wanted him to cut my hair and I told him that I had no idea. I just told him I was thinning and asked him to give me a haircut that would best fit my features...and he totally did just that!! He worked on my hair for like an hour and it totally came out better than I have ever seen it! I don't think I can ever go see anybody else to give me a cut! Way to go David!!! read more

My boyfriend and I walked in to see if they had any openings on a Friday afternoon and luckily they had a couple chairs open! When we asked if they had time for a quick cut they looked at each other and said no. I am not sure why they quickly turned us away. read more
