Usually easy to get into. I've only really had Felix or Larry cut my hair. I think Felix is now retired due to health. I always get a quality cut here. Larry is amazing. He's in his 80's and still doing a superb job. He's so fun to talk with as well. Big Dodger fan and it's great to talk old LA history with him. It's not a super fast cut. But he gives you his time and attention to make sure you are well taken care of. He's been cutting my hair for 10-12 years and I have been very impressed with his skill and wonderful demeanor. My cousin walked in the other day and asked for a taper with no razor. Simple instructions and the barber (the one on seat two next to Felix) went on to do what he wants and gave him a full fade and used a razor. It was a terrible fade at that. bad service of a particularly barber ,we set up appointments 2 days before and always cancels when the time comes and it has happened twice.Not only does it look bad on him but also on the owner of the business "Felix".At first he did walk ins and later changed it appointments and he seen me walked in one day and, doesn't tell me anything and im waiting for a cut for 3 hours and later tells me the shop is closing that he no longer takes walk ins.This last time i went and canceled on me when i show up.Said that he forgot to put me down on his schedule on 3/13/19 at 4pm and that he cant squeeze me in at least for my sons haircut stating that he has to meet his P.O officer @ 5 and so i get the owner to get the job done.When some other guys walks in and starts cutting his hair @ 4:25 when i had showed up 3:55 pm like we schedule it and I thought it was very rude and poorly managed by his part.Dont come here people go and take your money somewhere else where the barber doesn't argue with you infront of the owner and actually keeps appointments,last time i ever come here fuck this place! read more
