If it stays the same after becoming CVS, they're going to lose a lot of valued and devoted customers.

In terms of affordability, it is a convenience store, so most things can be a bit more than what it's worth. Usually they will have a deal like 2 for $3 on starbucks coffees or like $1.50 jumbo muffin. With the can drop, they have an employee watch you and you can only do up to 24 cans/bottles.

They get to know their regular customers, remembering their names, the kind of cigarettes they buy, making conversation and jokes with them. They are open fairly late, until 11pm, so if you forgot something at the grocery store that you need to make dinner, Dari Mart is much closer and quicker than a trip to the grocery store.
