Autumn, the hygienist, brought me back and introduced herself and was kind beyond words. I told her she was in for a tough job and she just smiled and said, "I'm sure I've seen worse." When Autumn finished up, Dr. Skasko came back to look me over. After a few laughs and some suggestions, I was out the door in what seemed like no time. Dr Skasko was able to replace the old bonding, and balance the rest of my smile, which I didn't even know you could do with bonding. The work he and his team have done has been wonderful, and every experience I have had here, to include the front desk, has been perfect. The hygentists and assistants strike me as incredibly competent. Dr. Skasko runs on time and he was able to fit me in on an emergency basis to get a crown replaced before I left for vacation. I felt completely at ease in his chair and the process was without any pain at all. My husband goes to Dr. Skasko and also commented on what a painless experience it is. Also, Dr. Skasko made a cosmetic improvement to my husband's teeth so the little gap between his two front teeth was finally closed in time for our wedding :) Can't endorse this dental practice highly enough. The office relocated a few years ago from the original Stoneridge location in Gahanna. I'm a regular if you can be one. I have to get my teeth cleaned 3-4 times / year because I have excessive tartar...its genetic. I've been to 5 hygienists in there and each one has been trained well. They are extremely cordial, knowledgeable, upbeat, and always looking to please the patient. When I get my teeth cleaned, I lay on a warm lavender pillow and if I'm cold, they give me a blanket. Who knew you could fall asleep while getting your teeth cleaned? They can use the ultrasonic on you, but also uses the old-fashioned scraper thing for your teeth if you can't handle the high-pitched tones. On some days, I can't handle it. I also had my mercury amalgams removed and this was painless and well worth it. And lastly, I've recently upgraded my crowns. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. They made the molds, made the temps and then sent me over to the lab to get custom ceramics. And then promptly called me to 'seat' them. My teeth have never looked more perfect. If only I give up the coffee and wine, then they would look even better!

As someone who takes extra good care of their teeth, I was surprised that during my last cleaning I was told that I needed 2 possibly 4 fillings. For context, I get my teeth cleaned every six months and there was no indication that my teeth had problem areas. The dentist, Tim, was also not very direct when telling me that I needed fillings. He came in for literally the last minute of my appointment poked a tooth or two and said he found a "sticky spot" and that I could come back to "have them patched up". I have never had fillings so I was on high alert and naturally had many questions that because I was hurried out were not answered. I compiled a list of questions and called the office back. I got his assistant who looked over my x-rays. One other noteworthy thing was that my x-rays were pristine, they showed no signs of cavaties whatsoever. She saw this and was still pushing me to schedule an appointment to have fillings. So, I did what my gut told me and got a second opinion at another practice. And guess what?? After 1.5 hours of onboarding me, running taking new xrays, and treating me to a complimentary exam - they found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with my teeth!!! I'm horrified that I almost had my teeth drilled. I switched dentists...fast! My boyfriend also goes to NAFD and also has a laundry list of issues. We kept going back because the dental hygienists were so nice and friendly and it was close to work for the both of us. In the end, a dental practice is only as good as their dentist.

The lead dentist here is Stephen Webster. He is truly amazing. I am a grinder. I apparently abuse my teeth nightly. So Im always bruising the nerve of my teeth and sometimes fracturing them. I also seem to toss my night guards while sleeping and repetitively damage different molars.. thus needing an occasional root canal. The first root canal was done elsewhere and it was an awful experience. When the tooth didn't heal up I went in search of a new dentist and found Dr Webster. So glad I found him! Since then he has fixed the area that still hurt from the other practice. He has also saved a badly fractured tooth on the opposite side of my mouth with a successful canal and today has preformed another root canal on my back molar. I will fully admit I was terrified to have a second root canal after the experience with the first dentist. However, my experience with Dr Webster was nothing but positive. He listens to you concerns and makes you feel at ease. Both he and is staff treat you with kindness. He has this technique of numbing the gum that is so much more effective than any other doctor Ive ever been too. I mean even the "numbing" shots he administered are barely felt. Truly, my canals with him hardly hurt at all. I recommend him to everyone whenever I hear someone is needing a root canal. I trust him fully. If you become a patient with him, you will too. He is really good at what he does. Highly recommend him.

His honesty and professionalism cut him out of the equation, and he referred me to an oral surgeon instead. Even though I didn't become a patient of his, I'd still recommend him. It seems like a really great practice, and he's a very personable and professional Endodontist. When I did compare root canal procedure rates, they're definitely comparable. Check them out.
