She made sure Baby K enjoyed the whole thing. Even during cleaning when I could tell she was a little uncomfortable, she didn't fuss. The whole office is set up for kids, from the waiting area to the special dental chair. There's a TV overhead, cool sunglasses to avoid the bright lights, etc. Even a plastic dental mirror to take home and use on your stuffed animals. We have to go back for a little work, and K is excited. All of the staff are great, and it was a very good experience. Okay, except for my finding it- there are dozens of dentists in Clintonville, all named something like "Clintonville Dentistry," so check carefully. She emailed a link to online intake forms that were quick and easy to navigate, including scanning his insurance and ID cards. I never had to go to the office. After the appointment was over, when it was time to call the independent living center's transportation person, my family member was confused, and the Carroll Family Dental front desk made the call for him. They scheduled his 6-month cleaning and sent an email with the appointment information. Later that day, they emailed the very reasonable bill to the relative who handles payments. It's like you're just a number to them giving no final explanation for full understanding of your overall checkup. I have to question things I hear them saying to one another as if you're (the patient) isn't right there in the room or if the hygienist tells me something very specific about a potential concern, the dentist doesn't speak to it unless I actually raise the question myself.
