Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.

My home had suffered damage after the recent high winds in the Broomfield/Thornton/Westminster…read morearea. On one night during those high winds the door on my 60' mobile home would not latch. When I went outside to go to work the next morning the skirting at one end of the house was completely gone, just lying on the ground. I posted an ad on yelp as I have in the past. Dirk responded and I asked for an estimate of the work to level the home and repair the skirting. Dirk showed up the next day prepared to work. He introduced himself and described his years of experience with mobile home leveling specifically but also home construction in general. I scheduled a total of 3 estimates. I'm sure that if you're reading this you know that it is not easy to find a professional for mobile home re-leveling. I selected him based on the conversation that we had and it seemed clear that he understood what was needed. He returned 2 days later at the scheduled time and started working. The first day I could not tell if the house was leveling or not. The house sits on a fairly steep incline and for the last year that I've been in this unit there was a line from the south end of the house that ran nearly the entire length of the house basically bisecting the bedroom and kitchen as well as part of the living room while the front half of the house (including the kitchen) sagged a bit. On the second day when I got home from work I immediately noticed that the bedroom and kitchen were no longer sagging. When I went to bed my bed felt perfectly level. I felt so much relief as I had gotten so used to the house being slanted slightly. I walked into the kitchen and saw the difference immediately. It was evening at that point so I text and let him know that I could feel the difference. He said that he'd come back to make some fine adjustments and he wanted to check again from inside to make sure he got it right. Not only that. A previous contractor that was hired prior to me moving in had removed some of the insulation around the pipes and did not replace it. Dirk was kind enough to point this out, explain why it was necessary and provide insulation and replace it. Apparently the owner was aware of this as well. He rebuilt and re-enforced the skirting by framing it with plywood and then somehow securing it to the concrete. He came back a final time to make adjustments to the leveling and skirting and I left for work that day while he worked. When I returned home I immediately saw that the door the was having trouble opened and closed perfectly. He had not even come inside that day. This man is a wizard with this type of work. He seems to genuinely be a great person and for the price that he quoted, both I and the landlord believe that it was worth every penny. My landlord has already rehired him for another job. He does what he says he's going to do and he clearly knows exactly what he is doing and that is what matters. If you need leveling, skirting or framing I can attest that I think you'd be wise to hire this guy.

When we were referred to Windows America by a friend, we also needed 2 other quotes for cost comparison. Not only were these Windows America the best price, they looked after us in ALL aspects of the installation process. We have seen a significant reduction in our electric and gas bills! Our home now has a BETTER UV protection in the windows for protecting our cabinets, floors and wooden furniture. They also have the bottom up/top down locking windows (for a comfortable breeze), which was an up charge at the other two companies that had quoted on the replacement windows! The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.
