Everything went great as soon as we started talking to Austin. Our insurance company was being very difficult and not acknowledging that our roof was destroyed from a hail storm in May of 23. A couple of buddies of mine told me they both used GSPR and gave me Austin's number. Within a few days he had the insurance company change their tune and replace a clearly devastated roof and even helped over see our window replacements as well. The work was very good and clean. Gold Star Premium Roofing did a great job on my residence. Caine Knapp (owner) responded quickly to my request for a quotation for a new roof. He visited my home within a day, provided a quote and had his worker crew on site within 48 hours. Our roof had a steep pitch and was difficult to work on in several areas. The crew also had to install shingles on a turret, also difficult challenge. They crew finished the job in a minimum number of days. They cleaned up the area at the end of each. I would highly recommend finding another roofing company to work with. We had to have three different project managers because of the lack of reliability. The project was poorly performed, and the cleanliness was terrible. We had to pick up the nails and filled two ziploc bags full of debris and materials. They tried to cover up bare wood but we caught it and sent images. They did come out and redo the work but only because we caught the poor installation practices. They have been finished for over a month and roofing nails continue to come down with the winds. The gutters leaked and we had to have them back out to repair the gutters. We have had three roofs over 24 years and this is by far the worst experience we have had. They told us they would never install below 40 degrees and the next thing we know they are installing at 32 degrees. We questioned them on this as they brought it to our attention and were told that is what the inspection is for and the warranty. They wouldn't even show up to pick up the final check and thank us for the business. My advice is to keep looking for a real roofing company. read more

Gold Star really is a premium roofing company. William came out and helped us every step of the way. He even helped us find damage that us, nor the insurance company found that essentially led to more money for us and keeping our home looking great. When they came to install the roof- it was determined that a lot of the wood was very rotted and damaged (thank you 1890s house!). William was ready to call a carpenter and get it fixed asap. My husband decided he wanted to do the work and Gold Star was beyond flexible. It took us months to fix the wood- but when we were ready, we called William and he had the roof and gutters installed asap. I've had the pleasure of working with William Brayshaw and Gold Star Premium Roofing over the last couple of months. After patching a couple leaks on my roof last spring, we finally decided it was time to replace our 20+ year old roof. William came over to do a initial assessment and then he recommended that we make an insurance claim. When the adjuster came out to take a look, William and Corey came to speak with him about their findings and they even walked the roof together. I believe this was a integral part of our insurance claim being approved.
