I'm 20 years old getting first time experience being on the road outside of the parking lot, after day 2 of instruction I felt very comfortable behind the wheel. Not only have 3 members of my family been students of Mr. Tibbs but all of them have become very good drivers. I also commend his patience and kindness as an instructor, no matter how many phone calls and inquiries he received while with other students, he always answered any questions potential students had and was flexible with their schedules while still being attentive to the driver behind the wheel and helping them. He is very understanding, gives great tips for being on the road, and makes you feel comfortable as if this is your own car. If I could give this place zero stars, I would…read more Just to be clear, I'm only reviewing my personal experience at the Fairfax location near George Mason University. My instructor was Jessica, so I can't speak for the other instructors or locations. I came here as a complete beginner expecting an MSF course to actually teach me how to ride. Instead, after struggling with one of the basic turning exercises, I was given basically two attempts before Jessica pulled out a paper and told me I was done and could come back another time - for an additional fee. Ironically, on my next attempt I actually did the exercise correctly. What bothered me most wasn't even being removed from the course. It was the way the instructor handled it. There was very little actual explanation of what I was doing wrong. Instead, she was constantly yelling things like "What are you doing?" That's not teaching, especially when you're dealing with someone who is sitting on a motorcycle for the first time. I spent around $350 on this course plus about five hours completing their online theory, and it was basically money and time thrown away. I refused to come back and pay them a second time out of principle. Instead, I practiced on my own and went through the Virginia DMV process, passing both the knowledge and riding tests. The DMV riding test is harder, but honestly, passing it gave me much more confidence in my ability to actually control a motorcycle. If you're a complete beginner, my advice would be to learn and practice somewhere else first and consider trying the DMV route before paying for this course. If you can't pass the DMV test, then sure, an MSF course may still make sense. But I definitely wouldn't recommend this particular course as the place to learn from scratch. A beginner motorcycle course should teach beginners, not expect them to already know how to ride.

Syeda picks me up from school and drops me off at a suitable location every time we do behind the wheel . Everyone who is leaving this place a bad review , the law is that you are supposed to drive for a total of 45 hours with your parents . Do not get in the car with Syeda and other students if it's your first time driving !! It is not her job to teach you how to drive it's her job to improve on your skills that you learned with your parents and prepare you for a license . Everyone at this school is welcoming and easy to talk to and I have no problems with it (:
