After two days of making frustrating calls to get my mom's primary Dr. to remove her stitches that she got in the E.R. I finally decided to take her to this Urgent care to get the job done. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist. I had several questions as to how 'urgent care' worked when using mom's BCBS and Medicare, the front desk young woman, Ishani, answered all my questions clearly and was very helpful in putting me at ease that we did indeed come to the right place to get what we needed accomplished. Several patients were ahead of us and yet we did not have to wait very long before we could see the Dr. The patient room was very clean. The Medical Assistant, Mahllide, was understanding when I said mom needed to sit in a chair with a back vs sitting atop the bed. She checked mom's vitals and treated her with kindness and respect. My mom is 86, has Parkinson's and slight dementia. We did not have to wait long for the Nurse Practitioner to arrive. The Nurse Practitioner, Jessica, was very kind, professional and understanding. She took out mom's 5 stitches on her head with very little pain inflicted on my mom. She spoke to mom to reassure her what she was doing and to let mom know when she was nearing the end. Before we knew it we were walking out without stitches in mom's head...and we didn't have to wait 7 weeks to get it done! There is plenty of parking out front. The waiting room is pretty bare bones but the chairs are really cozy and comfy. read more

I have a sinus infection and need an antibiotic but they dated the Rx three days later. I need it now.

It took 45 minutes for my 2 year old daughter to be seen... there was 3 patients in the waiting room. I even took it upon myself to time it on my stop watch and as soon as someone else had walked in they got seen as soon as 10 minutes, with the 45 minutes before the second walked in. All of us patients were listening to the nurses and front desk about their personal life while I'm sitting in the waiting room waiting for my daughter to be tested for Covid. If you don't like your job then leave, simple as that! If you say you're helping people and that's what helping looks like, you should be a shamed. read more

COVID-19 Test. Extremely slow and cumbersome process for COVID testing. I had to register online which involved completing several forms. Next, I obtained a specific date and appointment time. Arrived early as instructed, waited in line of several cars behind the building. After a 20-30 minute wait, they called inside, and then I had to complete more forms. I was there about an hour, which is about 50 minutes more than my previous 4 COVID Test that I've through work and RID AID. I told them that I completely pre-register online, but was informed that "these forms" are for the lab. I was informed that I would be notified of my results within 48 hours. It's going on 6 days and still no results. Do not wast your time, or money here. Choose RID AID or CVS they much faster with the testing process and your results. read more

I believe this facility must be now part of Great Lakes urgent care for which there are three locations now. Anyway, I went there yesterday seeking relief from what I thought to be a sinus infection gone out of control. My daughter had used this facility as she just moved nearby and also had a very prompt and professional experience. I saw NP-C Cayla Preston. She was extremely professional, courteous, and caring. I received the treatment I was looking for and in fact, she offered me options with well defined pros and cons. I believe the biggest issue with people writing sometimes less than positive reviews about Urgent Care is that their expectations are same as if they are going to ER or their family Dr. It is not. It is supposed to be a stop gap in the event you need a relative quick treatment as part of your overall health care process. Either way, Cayla was fantastic and I am glad I went. Nobody knows how to answer a phone here. I've called 7 times, waited 3 minutes each and nothing . One person answered the phone and didn't say a word. I could hear everyone in the background and I even heard a video game on a phone. I see what's more important to them here. My mom had very bad sciatica pain and went here. Jessica was amazing. My mom hasn't stopped talking about her since going! My mom would call me every day crying about how much pain she was in, and after going to see Jessica she hasn't had any pain! I went here last night for ear pain and cold related issues and they turned me away because it was Upper Respiratory related and I needed an appointment for those symptoms. Isn't that what urgent care is for? I even had a recent negitive result for covid and they told to come back another day. I don't like going to urgent care to begin with but when you have no other option, you go. "Doctor" Did not give her the right dosage for antibiotics(ear infection), would not swab for influenza and I should have ran for the hills when I heard this statement come from his mouth... "Do not give her Motrin, it will make her ears bleed" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have 4 kids, plenty of ear infections and doctor trips and never in my life have I heard that. Needless to say she was seen by her Ped Monday morning and she was also diagnosed with influenza, on top of her dosage of her antibiotic for her ears being wrong! I will NEVER go back. Luckily my Ped office opened their own urgent care! ALSO THEY ARE OFFERING PEOPLE $5 CASH TO PUT A GOOD REVIEW ABOUT THEM ON GOOGLE! what a complete joke. Did covid test and it has been a week and they don't have the results back yet. They didn't mention that they are backlogged on testing and is taking more than a week. Had to drive all the way to the office to speak to someone because no one is answering the phone. All my co workers that did there test get the results back in 48 hours. read more

Do Not Go Here!! Why? Misdiagnosis, billing errors, and potential billing fraud! First my daughter was misdiagnosed as having a fractured knee. We received crutches and instructions to take Motrin and follow up with an orthopedic doctor on Monday. Went to the orthopedic doctor and learned my daughter has growing pains. No fracture! So I returned the crutches to avoid paying for something we don't need. Almost one year later and I'm still getting bills. I called at least 10 times, waked in to speak directly to someone and each time the employee promises to take care of the crutch bill. Second issue, I happen to look at my explanation of benefits and found they billed Blue Cross for my sons sports physical, that I paid cash for, but billed it as an X-ray. Blue Cross denied the claim stating they needed more information. Today I got a bill for $65 for the physical I already paid for. I'm sure when I call another dozen times for assistance no one will follow through. Go somewhere else! read more

Hope there is less star that one.I went to hospital for ear infection and my wife was on already antibiotic medication,after informing Senior nurse she prescribed more stronger dose of antibiotic for 10 days.Then nurse got confused and called and asked over phone about pain symptoms.We were taking this medication for in trust on diagnosis.After 10 days infection only got worse and we then visited another place and came to know whole diagnosis was wrong it was yeast infection.I have tried reaching office and manager is never available to take call.I wrote emails no response. BE CAREFUL! Wednesday I went with my family (me, husband, son of 5 years and daughter of 2) to do the PCR! Already I left disappointed with the service because the person who came in the car to pick up, after having put the swab in my nose, left with him not hand without being inside a tube through the parking lot, when he arrived at the door he went back to the car with him on hand to ask the name of who she had picked and then went back inside again! it happened to the 4 of us! The next day they called me and said that I tested positive and my whole family was negative! I found it very strange because in my house we shared everything, cups, spoons, hugged and kissed all the time! As we were without any symptoms, I decided on the same day to look for Beaumont and retake my test! at the same time I did the quick test and it was already negative! I also collected the PCR and received the next day also negative! Be CAREFUL with this place! RUN! they are doing a disservice to society! read more

Terrible. My husband was there three days ago complaining of shortness of breath. Was given an antibiotic and his breathing troubles were written off to being overweight. 2 days later, he's in the hospital with the flu, pneumonia, exceedingly high heart rate, a-fib and a fever of 103°. While I understand the additional amount of people being seen and tested for COVID right now, this establishment was extremely disappointing. I made appointments for 3 of us through their online process. We registered and received confirmation of the appointments. When we arrived several hours later for our appointments we were told we couldn't be tested because there was a glitch in their system that allowed people to make appointments when they didn't actually have availability. No phone call or any attempt to get ahold of us in advance to let us know what had happened. The provider, Mary, rudely refused to test us because she didn't want to chart 3 more patients that day. We asked to speak with a manager and we're given a number to call her. The number was to Rochester Urgent care (they are affiliated). While the manager was not in they were kind enough to squeeze us in without appointments even they were full too. Amazing the difference in customer service! Thank you Rochester Urgent Care for actually caring! We needed to get the test results soonest to be able to relay the information to elderly people that we'd been around and whom live in 55+ communities. read more

They overcharged me for a 3 minute visit with doctor. They billed my insurance for a visit that is defined as a face to face visit with the doctor lasting longer than 45 minutes. Upon leaving the facility I asked if I had to sign or receive any paperwork or if I owed any payment. The receptionist said I was all set and had nothing for me. Two weeks later my wife had a very similar experience there too, but with a different doctor, and was overcharged. We are disputing and appealing the amount charged through our insurance company. Two weeks later I had to go to another walk-in clinic because the prescribed antibiotic did not work...that urgent care charged me appropriately and was $100 less. Don't leave without any paperwork from them...we certainly will not use these gougers again! read more

Unfortunately, these place is a joke. I was in need of medical attention, and decided to go here for my first time. Once I was seen, the woman doctor on call decided that she would go look on her computer based on my symptoms, and tell me what my condition was? What? I could have Googled something at home myself! Needless to say, I left there with a prescription for something I knew I didn't have, and to make matters worse, they charged me $250 for everything they did? 1: The front office staff is courteous and nice. 2: I never saw a doctor. I saw a nurse - practitioner 2 times during the visit - the first time for 30 seconds and the second time for 15 seconds - neither time did I understand what she said (she announced her name the first time which I didn't understand, and I have no clue what she said the second visit and she was gone before I could ask her to repeat.) 3: The young man, who was also warm and friendly, placed a splint on my arm (the bill to the insurance company was $344.00) which dug into the soft tissue on my forearm and was so painful I removed it as soon as I got home. 4: I was told I'd be given a referral to a specialist first thing Monday morning (the urgent care visit was on a Saturday.) It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't got a referral call. 5: I never got a diagnosis from them - The entire visit was a waste of time and money. Total time there was just over four hours. read more

1 star is too much for them!! This urgent care almost killed my mom. Dr. Mary misdiagnosed her apendicitis with an UTI. The doctor even told her to wait a week before going to the emergency room, the doctors at the hospital said she would not have survived another day, the appendix had already RUPTURED.
