We set a date for the project to begin and they arrived as promised. What was amazing is each day everything was cleaned up, and the next day they began promptly. The final product exceeded my expectations and my mother's. The price from the original estimate didn't change. In today's business world it's nice to see a handshake still means something. They work with integrity, and their workmanship is unmatched. My wife and I are currently building a house and will be using them for our fence.

They came right away and took measurements and listened to what I was interested in having done. They gave me estimates on several different options that I asked for regarding style and length. The estimate was done within a day and a half of my initial call. The work started within a couple of days after that, and they worked straight through until completed. Now I have an excellent fence, exactly the way I asked for, at a fair price. Communication was never a problem, and everyone involved was very respectful and easy to work with and no mess was left behind. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

He abandoned a small project and has not returned any calls or texts since. He stated the project would take 2.5 days to complete and left the job site, never to return, after nearly 5 weeks. During this time, there were 5 days that he was a complete "No show". The workmanship was horrific, the clean-up non-existent, and the communication pathetic. Big talker with little results. Not to be trusted.

I reach out to Andy's fence and they said there was no warranty and they would charge me $65 for just someone to come over and renail that board to the fence post. Unfortunately, that board had warped and it's really hard to reset it. The fence isn't that old and they have this problem early on. I'm really concerned with the quality of their work. And to charge $65 to have someone come out here and readjust it is crazy. Buyer beware.

For those who dont want to read...the end product agreed upon is fantastic and very well built...I…read morewould even go as far as to say overbuilt...which is good. I truly dont think you will find a better product in the Wilmington area....they truly build great decks....for those that want to read....I will take you thru our process..... If you want a quick turnaround on your deck, dont count on it, it will take several months. They are busy. Process- Salesman arrives in March...he is fantastic and helps us solve a couple of issues we had concerns with...two other companies did not. He explained procedure....10% down, if you cancel you lose half of your deposit...40% when they start and balance of 50% when project completed. You will have to submit plans to HOA for approval, they will take care of all the other permits...very convenient. We had our down payment in by the end of March and were put in Que...we were told the completion date would be mid June to late June.....their price was higher than the other two quotes....significantly, however; the product and design offered is far superior...pay the money, you wont be sorry. No communication from the end of March forward until I contacted them during the first week of June to ask about start dates....I was told they were waiting on permits...so I checked on line...its public information...our permits were not put in until May 31st....this delayed the build...the project started around July 17th and was completed on August 2nd. I feel the permits could of gone in much sooner to keep on schedule. There were a couple of hiccups during the build that we caught before they became a major issue...I would highly recommend you be home for the build to insure it is how you envisioned the project. These minor issues were solved easily and without concern, but if they were not caught before/during construction could of been an issue. One of the issues was a change we made after agreeing to a certain build height of the pergola, but while watching it being built realized it was to low...they raised it, no problem. The other was a cosmetic design that was sold to us but was not conveyed to the contractor....this was also caught early and rectified. The last was the underpinning...we thought it was included with the build because the deck was two levels and found out at the end it was not. They gave us a very fair price to add it on and completed it without hassle. They also gave us a price to have the pergola painted once it has time to weather. All of the Owners/team members I had contact with were easy to deal with....Glenn, Mark, Dino and Josue were fantastic. The deck is awesome, constructed extremely well and in the end thats what matters....I would chose them again without question.
