They apparently don't know what they are doing when it comes to screen repairs. They replaced my screen 3 times. After the 1st repair, the home button was wobbly and stopped working. After the 2nd repair, there were pressure points on the screen. I think the 3rd repair didn't actually happen as the issue was the same as after the 2nd repair. There are pressure points all over the iPad. Additionally, the advertisement in big letters on the window of the store says "Lifetime warranty on screen repairs"; however, they told me it's only 30 days. My mom dropped off her iPad, store staff having indicated they could fix her model. She is significantly visually impaired and uses her iPad regularly. After about four weeks, she did not hear anything. She called once a week after. Each call they told her that the person who works on them was not around to do it. After six weeks, it resulted in her going to pick it up, still not working. Rather disappointing. They need to better value and have respect for wasted time for customers. Her iPad is a necessary tool to someone in mid seventies with visual impairment. It is not just a tool of entertainment or gaming. The "whatever " attitude was not helpful. Now we have an appointment with the Apple Store two hours away. Could have done so originally and saved 6 weeks. read more

I'm giving them 1 star for answering the phone. In wanting a simple estimate for the repair, they said they would be glad to email one. They lied. And then accused me of insurance fraud when I called back to ask again. So my vendor couldn't believe a company would treat customers like this, and issued a payment for repair, and suggested to take it to a company that values their customers. My PS2 laser was no longer reading the game disks, they replaced it and working great now. Highly recommend this place for repairs. The price to replace the laser was a little pricey, but worth it in the long run for the memories the game system has created this far, and will create in the future. read more

Purchased a battery for my phone here. Lasted 5 months and went bad. Would not stand behind there battery. Would not recommend them at all!!

We visited the store for my sons birthday. I was surprised at the huge selection of games and laid back shopping experience. The staff seemed more interested in their own conversation than their customers but when we checked out we paid and left quick so I guess that's something. I am not a gamer but wanted to get Dance Dance Revolution as a source of exercise during COVID quarantine. I ordered DDR Universe game from 1up Games and Repairs. The customer service was top notch- they communicated very clearly by email and were flexible with their game return policy when my dance pads (unrelated to my 1 up purchase) did not work. Payed to get my controller fixed twice cause they didn't have a record of me paying for mine. Got home to find out the L3 dosnt work anymore, all I took it in for was the usb port but now there is an exposed wire by the headphone jack and I'm out 60 bucks wouldn't recommend for repairs. read more

I ordered Yakuza 4 on Tuesday, April 28. A few minutes later, I received an e-mail from Justin M. thanking me and telling not to hesitate asking if I had any questions. Another e-mail I received said "2-8 days shipping time". I have never had to wait for the end of the shipping time before something arrived. This time I did. On the ninth day, I started the refund process. I had to go through Paypal for the refund. Paypal, however, is a navigational nightmare. I finally got to the point where I was going to call them. I did and went back to the tracking screen online so that I would have the info they needed to help me. Suddenly, my package went from being in Indianapolis, Indiana (for 3 days) to Fort Worth! So I hung up and gave it another day. It (finally!!) arrived yesterday. So, my review is: 1Up Games is great! The game is in great shape! Do order from them - just be aware of the existence of Paypal and the Post Office, which are a diaper fire, to say the least. read more

We had trouble with the first one working, it took us a few days to find one that worked but they were very accommodating about working with us. Awful! I saw a copy of Contra Super C there, it was dirty and had some minor label damage. They wanted $30 +tax, so I looked it up on my phone and found out I could get the same game (minus all the dirt and wear) for $15.00 w/free shipping. That was enough for me, I didn't even bother to look through the rest of their VERY LIMITED selection. I am all for supporting local businesses, but these people are obviously some sort of hucksters. Note: the only reason I gave it so many stars is because I couldn't give it a rating of 0 stars or less...much less. read more
