I was recommended to use 2 Brothers Septic by my Realtor to inspect the Septic Tank on my home I'm purchasing, it was also recommended that I have it pumped out since it would be dug up opened anyway. I called Troy and scheduled service fir the next day. Charles and Skyler showed up on time, Called me before their arrival and were very professional. Charles found the tank in just few minutes, a real pro! The tank location was not marked and no visible clean out. They dug up the tank with surgical precision, and without tearing up the yard. Once opened they thoroughly inspected the system and determined it was in optimum working order and good condition. Charles could have made the up-charge from inspection only to the added pump out I requested but told me I'd be wasting my money water as the system was clear. That's professional integrity! Being that I just moved out here and haven't had a property with a Septic Tank system in 40 years, I'd forgotten basic septic system care. Charles explained how the system worked, what kind and size tank I had and its proper care and maintenance! I was floored at his professionalism and responsiveness to my many questions. First let me start by saying... Septic issues are not my Forte. I know nothing about them which is scary. Not only did they answer a call after hours for me, but Troy and the rest of the crew were polite, loving, caring, very knowledgeable, and scheduled me for the next morning. They came out and got the job done in impeccable timing!! Even in the midst of this global pandemic, they exuded the most professional manner. They were an hour early which was great in my book!! This company opens the tank first then gives you an estimated of the cost and then you decide to do it or not. I was in a bit of an emergency and based on their website gave them a call. I spoke to Troy on the phone and he seemed like a really nice guy, he agreed to come over the next day and give me a quote. He was prompt, had a helper with him, I told him that I had no water in the house because the septic tank was backing up. He poked a stick in the ground and found the septic tank. He then asked me if I was going to dig it up or if he was going to dig it up. Now, the importance of this is two-fold, I was standing there with a face mask on and explained to him that I had just had chemo two days earlier and while I don't expect special treatment because of it, kindness would have been helpful. He then explained that for him to dig up the tank to get to it to see what the problem was would be extra. He left here after giving me a "worst case estimate of $1500 - $2000, with me digging it up". He also told me that he was busy and wouldn't be able to get to it that day even if I were able to get it dug up. After he left, I called a friend who suggested another company who informed me that digging up the tank was always included in service and that they could do it today. The new company came out within an hour, dug up the tank, removed the tree that was in the way, pumped my tank and replaced the two valve things that were the problem. Total cost $1500. I think the real reason Troy didn't want to do any digging was because of the tree that someone had planted not knowing where the tank was located. The job was done that same day, my children were able to come home from their grandparents, shower and go to school the next day. The kindness of the second company more than made up for 2 Brothers leaving me devastated and in tears. So not only will I not call them again, I would not suggest them to my friends or neighbors. We had our septic tank serviced in 3/2018. They were nice and on time. We were told we needed tanks pumped, a new pump and wiring installed. We paid $5100 for the above work. We were told we were all cleaned out and up to code for another 13 years (the number of yrs before any problems). Well here we sit 1 1/2 years later with problems again. I called 2 Brother when we had the problems again and they came out to look at it and when they were reminded that the poor electrical work that they said needed to be repaired was their work I was told he needed to go check records and he would call me back. I have never heard back from them. We have had to get another company who states we needed another new pump as the pump initially installed was not adequate enough for our system and the "up to code wiring" is now corroded because of the poor electrical work has to be redone. Well they started work today on the repair and come to find out the solid waste tank was never pumped in 3/2018 despite being charged for it and it was completely full. Stay away from 2 Brothers. I was so disappointed because they were a local company from my town and I really wanted to have a great local company to recommend. read more

This was our first time calling for septic service. We have heard many worse case scenario stories, so we were very paranoid. Cost depended on so many factors. And we did not know enough about septic tanks to know if we were being lead on or not. We were skeptical because over the phone a flat price was not given like all the other competitors. They quoted an estimate and promised to do a free estimate when on site. And would not pump the tank unless we agreed to the final evaluation. Jimmy and a co-worker showed up right on time, dug up the tank and called me to give me my options. Fortunately we did not have any big issues. Jimmy was very professional and informative on where our tank was located, how often to treat it and options on how to prevent us from keeping the company from having to dig so deep for the next treatment. I would refer this company. They do honest work and their staff is very professional. They did a great job cleaning up and was very quick. Again great team. read more
