I am glad I switched for a few reasons. 1) Some other moving companies charge you from the time their truck leaves their own building to the time they get back to their own building, which makes zero sense. Thunder Moving only charges you for time the guys spend actually moving, down to the minute. 2) Kye responds basically instantly, most of the time within minutes. Communication was flawless, which is of insane importance on days where everything overlaps and needs to happen as smoothly as possible. 3) I told Kye I couldn't match an exact 2:00 PM window because I was closing on my house right at 1:00 PM and didn't know how long it would take. He said it was no problem and that he would let the team know. I happened to close early and messaged Kye and the moving team called me within like 20 minutes. 4) Clayton and Cade were very polite and professional. They had a trustworthy, small business demeanor and at no point did I feel uncomfortable in a series of potentially stressful/vulnerable situations. I immediately told them that I had one item I was worried about, a massive marble table that took me and my friends great effort to move. Clayton and Cade picked it up like a Ritz cracker and said that they could do it no problem. When placing the actual table at the new house, I initially wanted them to put it off-center to fit a side table in the dining room, but Cade said, "Do you want it under the light?" and I thought, "duh, he's right." I'm glad he said something cuz it would be a royal pain in my ass to move it later, even a few feet. Clayton seemed to have the leadership role and asked all the right questions and was very efficient with time and going over paperwork. He started the clock literally the minute they started moving so there was no "bloat" or an inflated price. He even slightly corrected a few minutes we had spent going over some things since the actual moving was done. Overall, he came across very knowledgeable and definitely has leadership potential. Cade was awesome too and super friendly. When I first saw them get out of the truck, I thought "man these guys are string beans," but actually they were super strong. At one point Cade was carrying a million pound object with just his fingers and had a facial expression like he was carrying a piece of paper. From the time the clock started to the time they were done, they were in constant movement. There was no slacking or breaks, not that I would have complained if they needed breaks. I'm just pointing out these two guys were super efficient. They made a plan for every object and communicated well between each other. Anyone who's moved knows that the planning part is the most important when trying to fit weird-shaped things through small doors and they made a great team. It would have taken me and my friends double the amount of time with triple the amount of headache. 5) The ending price was actually cheaper than I expected. There were no hidden fees, literally just the math of the hourly rate times the minutes used. I think maybe there were some minor charges for things like wrap or something, but I either didn't use it or didn't use much. 6) Their Yelp reviews were WAY better than competitors. Even the complaints seem to have the irate customer dying off on responses while Kye is still replying. If you're that mad and have a justifiable reason, I don't see why you wouldn't keep following up both in email and on Yelp. Definitely seems like if Thunder were in the wrong, you wouldn't let them have the last word and just give up. Anyway, obviously I can't speak to their ability to handle disputes, etc. since my experience was seamless, but I've worked in CS/Management for a long time and have dealt with thousands of irate customers. I've never seen a customer who was absolutely in the right just stop responding. If you got the proof, you got the proof, and you aren't going to stop chasing money that you feel is yours. Just my two cents. Anyway, moving is super annoying and I hope I never have to do it again. Even with Thunder doing all the heavy lifting, I'm exhausted and in pain. But if I had to move again I would for sure use Thunder Moving and highly recommend them.

Secondly I have pics of the back of the van to show there was plenty of room for my other stuff. The boxes you checked for insurance was to pays 60 cents a pound for damaged goods. Who in their right mind right mind would want 60 cent a pound as compensation? The extra you so graciously offered was 75 dollars . So 30 for my tv and 75 out of your kindness for a 500 dollar brand new tv that you made me pay 40 for a bok for it to not get broken. So I lost over what I paid u to move me and your gracious offer is 75. How about your smart elec employee who flared up in anger at my wife when asked about loading the rest of our stuff. And it goes on and on .what I signed at the end hasn't even been givin to me because he practically ran out my house . And no there were no boxes checked and it was 500 more than your estimate. The two young men who unloaded me, agreed the load was done well but could not believe it took 9 hours!!! they unloaded in 2 hours. A few things were broken and not from unload. they were actually poor packing decisions and one was maybe because of bumps from driving. I wanted to be happy with the $1200 LOAD ONLY...but unfortunately I was not and their review system doesn't ask for details. I was, however very happy with the quick moving unloaders that handled everything with care when I arrived in Arkansas. "Mindful Movers" recommended by Uhaul. I do wish I had taken U-Haul's recommendations for loading in OKC. Now I know.

Bison was hired by DVIS (Domestic Violence Intervention Services) to get me safely out of my home last August 2025 and Bison failed to provide this. I did everything I was supposed to do and reported what happened to DVIS. That former case mgr told me to call Bison. This in the middle of an out-of-town relocation for my own safety and during recovery from two illnesses while experiencing DV. The owner has the audacity to suggest on Yelp 2 things: That I was reaching out to him (reframing) and that I was somehow responsible for what took place, which is a very interesting way to look at things. In truth, I reached out to the business the week before moving day because I knew I wasn't going to be ready for them to move everything by that Friday. The DVIS case manager, who is a good friend of the business owner (her words) told me to call them and asked for extra help. I have chronic Lyme disease and was recovering from mononucleosis (reactivated Epstein Barr virus due to extreme stress). I'm also a senior. Bison Moving said they had no availability. I was left with no one to turn to for help. The business owner has recently stated on here that he fired his employee, J, over the incident. Good to know -- when I called to speak to the owner in Sept 2025, I was met with hostility and no update. But this predator is still out there somewhere, stated to me that he'd worked there for 5 years, and was 27 at the time. He still felt comfortable enough to text me a week after the move "to check on me and see if I needed any more help". It was scary. He showed no anxiety while in my home on that Friday and Saturday, was very superficially charming and arrogant. He had likely done this before and will likely do it again, only next time it may be worse. Women -- take precautions with all strange men coming into your home. You must protect yourselves from these types because they're everywhere right now. Bison Moving's crew walked into my home knowing why they were there -- J expressed his sympathy and asked for a hug first thing, and it felt icky. He knew I was vulnerable, exhausted, and desperate because he knew DVIS had contracted the move. They all knew. He later asked if he could take his shirt off. I fed two of the crew members because one of them told me he had not even eaten before showing up to work and responded that he was hungry when I asked. And I worked right alongside them, even though I was very ill. At the end of that day when we were all on the elevator, J asked me if I was going to give them a big tip. It was a horrible experience all around. And then J showed up the next day since he just happened to be free on Saturday -- to use more coercive control and assault me, and make some good cash. He told me it was fine with Bison and he did it all the time. He was the team leader and the other two guys said nothing. Fortunately, another company was hired to finish the job at a later date by moving me to my actual new city, and they were fantastic. Zero issues, I felt safe and they exhibited total professionalism, so it is possible.

The reason for the 3 star instead of 5 star: a man who came to my door quoted me a 4-6 hour moving time after looking at my home; he also gave me a price estimate. They sent out 3 men and a truck, starting at 9:30am. They were unable to pack all my things in one truck, and had to go back (an hour +delay), finishing the job at 8pm. The cost was shockingly higher than I originally expected. The movers themselves told me they should have arranged 5 men and two trucks to complete the job in a much shorter timeframe. This is a management issue that should be addressed.
