I thought I picked up a gown I wore to a black-tie event in May, but I didn't. If you lose track of any dry cleaning orders, as I did, Kaplan's has you covered. Kaplan's offers consistent, friendly service, and I love the attention to detail to maintain the quality of my clothing. Now that's a great value.

One broken button, which they fixed. The second time I bought in six shirts including one brand new just out of the package I had to return two for a poor job in pressing. The third shirt, the new one, had a stain on the cuff which was not there when I brought it in. They claimed they couldn't have done it and were very rude about it "what do you think.. we eat in the back". Well fine. 250 work days a year. Clean shirt each day. 3 bucks a shirt. Plus suits. I'll take my $1K of annual business someplace else and recommend you consider doing the same.

I sent him pics and measurements of my vintage footrest and he quoted me a fair price. My wife helped me pick out some decent material at Joann's Fabric (50% off) and I left the footrest and material with Joe and waited for the finished product. Several weeks later, my footrest was ready for pickup. It looks phenomenal now (see pics). As for clothing, I later took a bunch of dress shirts for alterations, as well as a suit jacket. Everything looks great! Judging by the number of customers who came and went each time I have gone there, Joe's skills are in demand. Joe's prices are fair and he always works hard to be sure his customers are satisfied.

Pricing is reasonable for alterations and other services like zipper repair and elbow patch replacement, both of which he did for us quickly and very reasonably priced. Free street parking in front for easy-in/easy-out. Most jobs were completed in under 2 weeks. Highly recommend this small business in little Lemoyne. =)

Place was clean and organized with rewards they've won over the years proudly displayed next to the register. And it's conveniently located right next to a small parking lot for easy access. Mr. Lara is an accomplished tailor who is very professional and he did an excellent job with the necessary alterations. His fitting room is small but clean with a private curtained area for changing. Regarding price, he might be a little higher than some of the other tailors in the phonebook, but his work is excellent. He is located on a slightly rundown part of Walnut Street but provides parking in a small lot behind the shop, accessed by a back alleyway.
