I had emailed asking the cost to hem a pair of jeans. she responded $16. so I drove there, asked how soon to get the job done & her response was ~ 2 weeks. then she said for a rushed order it would cost an extra $30 plus the alteration fee of $25. I said I emailed you & you indicated the cost was $16? she denied this! I took my phone out & told her that I have the email; "I can show you." then she said "my son probably did that." I said it is signed by you. she repeated "my son did it." I said then you should honor it since you allow your son to help manage your business. she replied "my son did it & I wouldn't be able to start until the end of the month" thus extending the time to nearly 3 weeks BEFORE even starting the job. unbelievable! Such brazen unethical, most likely even illegal behavior! And what an absolute waste of my time, my effort, my gas. I've never had a more exasperating experience with a vendor than with Kim. of course I'll never return but this is a warning to all of you about this businesses integrity, honesty & highly questionable business practices. New to the area, based off the yelp reviews I visited Kim's alterations for the 1st time with 5 piece of clothing needing altering on April 21. I paid half upfront and was told to please give her a little extra time due to prom. Proms are over in May. I waited over a month and went back to Kim. She could t find my items even though I had a ticket and when she did finally find them they were not touched. she apologized and said come back in 2 days. I gave her even more extra time and On June 12th when I returned she had not touched any of my items and asked for more time. I said absolutely not and I'd like my items back and was told I could have a credit for the money I've already paid. I'm sorry you did nothing in 2 months and you want to give me a credit to come back and use your no service again???? Utterly ridiculous behavior from a business owner! She clearly was unconcerned about the effect her neglience caused me as the comsume! read more

She did some work for me, but failed to do the last step. When I took the garment back to her to finish, she told me it was my responsibility to have checked her work to make sure it was right. I think not. I haven't been back. read more

Kim was very kind and extremely efficient! Her pup is absolutely adorable. I have never had any experience with clothing alterations. The dress i brought in was too big and was way too long. She took it in perfectly! I can't even tell that it was taken in as much as it was. I would definitely recommend her! read more

The absolute worst experience I've ever had trying to get something altered. I called and made an appointment, showed up and had to wait 30 minutes because Kim was "running errands." She finally arrived, and I mostly had to tell her where to take things in instead of her knowing given that she is the tailor! When I went to checkout, she quoted me nearly $140 for very slight alterations and a hem line, but quoted me $29 when I called that morning. I told her that price was outrageous and I would go somewhere else, and she made me pay her $10 "for her time" (even though she wasted 45 minutes of my time waiting for her and then overcharging me an outrageous price so off from her quote!!) DO NOT GO HERE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! read more
