I have two rescue dogs that came out of abusive situation, so they can be difficult to board. I boarded them once, years ago, and one of them refused to ever let any handler take them out for a walk for the entire stay. My adult son will dog sit over a weekend occasionally, but we typically stay away from boarding scenarios. If we can't take the dogs, we don't go. Recently, I decided to try 2 Peas In A Pod and I cannot say enough good things about them. They had good communication, very reasonable rates (I called around), and they took the time to really get to know my dogs upon arrival. They gave my problem pup the space she needed to adjust, built trust with her, and when I picked them up, they were desperate to go home with us, but seemed happy and content in their situation. They have lots of outdoor space for the dogs to roam, an entire house that they're allowed access to, with beds and furniture, and he said that they basically had their own bedroom. Contacted with few options moving into Michigan from Tennessee! They saved my ability to keep my dogs. From start to finish I was provided with constant updates through an app they use. My dogs smelled great upon pickup and I've been using them since! It's been 3 years of constant reliability without ever receiving notice they were unavailable. Weekly I have used them constantly for three years and they have provided services to me and my pups unlike anything I could have ever hoped or expected. James and Christina spend more time with my dogs than I do for more than half the year so to work and my dogs are SO much better because of it! 2 peas in a pod pet care is the greatest. We have been so fortunate to work with them. We have two large dogs a pure bred boxer and a boxer, black mouth cur mix. Needless to say they are high energy and full of passion. Our mix has a really hard time meeting new people and is not a fan of other dogs. With 2 peas in a pod they go out of their way to meet his needs, in order to help him cope being away from home and around other animals. We are so grateful that they are both cared for so kindly. They get plenty of time in a big space to run and play, and they come home calm and happy whenever they have had a visit. The owners have been great meeting random accommodations even with little notice. We are so grateful to have found them!! read more

Amazing service, have been watching my beagle since she was 4 months old for me when I need a sitter. I also use the for walks to and my pup always comes back tired and ready to nap. Anytime I'm out of town Opal stays with them. They're very accommodating especially to my ever changing schedule and very easy to communicate with. I owe Opals socialization to them. They sit dogs of all sizes and breeds and show your pup the same love you would I would almost venture to say Opal loves them as much as she loves me. They're my first choice when it comes to pet care I appreciate them dearly. read more

I cannot say enough great things about James and his business. Banjo is not only my baby, my child, but he's also my service dog! I know that Banjo will be in good hands anytime he's with James. Banjo is an Akita/ Husky and has a lot of hair, therefore he can overheat very quickly in this heat, but I don't have to worry! The pictures and videos he sends is great! Banjo also can be pretty dominant with other dogs when I'm not there, which typically I don't trust anybody else with him, but I never hear that anything bad ever happens! 10/10 would recommend for any of your pet needs! read more

Without a doubt the most comfortable I've felt leaving our dog in another persons care. Such a great company, and the service they offer are more than fantastic, and always reliable even with as little as one hour of notice. This was my first time leaving my dog (Liam) with anyone. James gave me confidence that I was leaving my dog in good hands. He explained the routine he has with the dogs which really put me at ease. They are outstanding, they offered to pick up and drop off my dog every time I need their services and even offer a free bath when my dog gets too stinky playing in the backyard.
