Kate took the time to get to know us. She had us walk through what was important to us to have captured on our wedding day. It was not really something that we had thought to articulate ourselves, but Kate made it easy by showing us example photos and having us describe what we liked about each one. Kate worked with us to create a very detailed and easy to follow timeline for our wedding day. Family and wedding party photos were a breeze, because she had organized the order in which each member would be added and removed from the photos. We had a 20 person bridal party plus a lot of extended family getting ready with us. Come the morning of the wedding when Kate arrives to the bridal suite, she circles all of my bridesmaids and family members up and goes around the room to learn every persons name. Incredibly, she memorized them all and used them throughout the entire day to help give directions. She truly became part of our family that day. She was great at being able to round up our big, crazy families. Everyone loved her. Being the center of attention can be intimidating. Kate helped relieve some of that pressure by being so stealthy and out of the way when photographing the day. I often forgot I was being photographed, which helped me be able to be myself and not feel like I was being watched by a camera. She and her second shooter, Kat, caught the most memorable candid moments because of that. I must also add that Kate dove herself into the dance floor to capture my brother and husband dancing together. We are so grateful to have had her on our wedding day. When our photos were finally ready to be revealed, Kate didn't just send us an email; she had us come to her office to relive the day together. We got to go through every photo together up on her large TV screen and create our wedding album. She gave us over 1,200 photos and had them all carefully organized in albums. She had also drafted 50 pages for us for our wedding album-- something that would have been quite daunting to try to put together on our own. Together, we created the wedding album of our dreams. Our experience with Kate Stapleton was priceless. We could not have been in better hands. She captured our special day so beautifully and our family will cherish these photos for generations. Jessica is very organized, detailed oriented and knowledgeable about everything wedding that she made the whole wedding planning thing seem easy! My fiance and I were so impressed after the initial consultation and knew we had to have her as our planner. Right after we booked OUATE, my fiance and I had a meeting with Jessica and basically told her everything we wanted, what we didn't want and what we dreamed of having but didn't think we could afford. She also had us fill out a questionnaire to get a sense of our style, get to know us and get an idea of what we envision for our dream wedding. After reviewing everything we gave her, she created a design board with everthing we had talked about. I loved how we got to go thourgh and point out what we liked and what we didn't like. This gave us a great sense of what our wedding was going to look like. Since I had a very hard time picking a theme and staying with that direction, this really helped me get on track and focus on one thing at a time. This also really helped me stop stressing and feeling overwhelmed and let me enjoy the wedding planning process. As a bride, I knew I wanted to be involved in the fun stuff but not the boring, budget related stuff. Jessica was amazing at handling all the stuff I didn't want to do or did not know how to do. We gave her our total budget and she planned around that very well and helped us stay on track. She also did all of the orders (which were a ton since we had our wedding at private estate and had to bring everything in) and delt with the most of our vendors. She has a great working relationship with a ton of wedding vendors in Reno that she was able to get things done and get them done fast! And she had wonderful recommendations for our wedding vendors. We loved them all! During the whole wedding planning process Jessica and her sister, Cassie kept us on track and made sure we were getting things done when they needed to be done. I loved how they took all of my ideas and wishes and made them happen without any questions. The whole time, they were professional but so nice and fun to work with! It made wedding planning a lot of fun! The day of the wedding, I had absolutley nothing to worry about. I sat in the house and got ready while Jessica, Cassie and her team set everything up and dealt with all the vendors. The wedding was not too big but the whole production of it was a lot! We had a ton of flowers, a fire pit, a dessert bar, photo booth, a lounge and a ton of details such a signage and personalized items. Jesssica and her team were so organized and executed everything PERFECTLY! It was above and beyond anything I had even imagined. They took my vision to the next level and made it better than I could had ever wished for. Jessica and Cassie kept the wedding on track the whole night and everything went off witthout a hitch. My husband and I nor our wedding party or family had to lift a finger, it was amazing! We got to spend our time enjoying ourselves while OUATE delt with everything else. Worked out great since many mutual friends were already in Reno and conveniently there is a chapel just down the escalators from the main floor. Beautiful venue. Simplistic and very high-end all at once. Rows of chairs on either side of the aisle with an altar, some steps, and a piano at the front. All of the small details were handled perfectly - a sign announcing the bride and groom, wedding cake, and celebratory drinks on top of the piano. Behind the scenes (literally behind a very decorative curtain) is a back area with rooms for privacy to change and prepare for the big day. The pastor was great. A friend played the piano as a wedding march and then sang a beautiful song for the couple. Huge congrats to our friends AnnMarie and Michael. So glad we were able to be there for them at their nuptials - especially in such a wonderful setting. If you're looking for a place to get married in Reno you can't go wrong with this hidden gem of a chapel within the Grand Sierra Resort.

We can totally leave town, RIGHT NOW! Im serious. Im just offering." I would not wish marriage on anyone, but if you are hellbent on doing it, might as well do it here. Without…read moregoing into too much details, we were in the delivery room and needed to get married as baby boy decided to come early. A quick google search and Neil popped up first. I gave him a call and our story, without hesitation Neil said I'll be right there. Not long after, Neil showed up at the hospital and officiated. It was quite a memorable experience for all of us and he made it special for us even with the brief conversation we had. Neil is very professional, funny and the man! now a special part of of lives forever , including our son! Thank you so much Neil!
