The owner Blaine helped us pick a similar product that was right for our needs that we absolutely love. Getting rid of the carpet has been a huge improvement, and the vinyl we chose looks like genuine wood flooring... We have another large flooring project coming up in the future. We will definitely purchase our products from Windsor for that project too:-)

Going to Ugly Duck seemed like a good way to save some money on our huge project - remodeling;…read morevirtually gutting the entire home. We ordered 16 interior doors and one exterior door. First, I never received a printed out invoice. I have looked in all my files and don't know how I missed asking for one except that I was busy coordinating work and scheduling contractors so didn't follow-up. Second, the interior door jams were not paint ready like we had asked for but since I could not find the invoice to double check what they had written down and was busy with other things, I let it go. I decided it wasn't as big-a-deal. Lastly and the reason for this review is the oversized exterior door with glass panels that we purchased for over $1000 (by memory because again - NO INVOICE with the price). We had it stained and installed. Right away it didn't seem to fit right but since we had already spent the time/money, we tried to make it fit. It just got worse with time. I had three different contractors come out to try to fix it when finally someone put a level on the door itself and said that the door is not level or warped and suggested I call Ugly Duck. He also told me that his company don't even buy from Ugly Duck anymore because of quality issues. Since we paid so much for the door, it shouldn't be failing after 2.5-3 years. I called and was called back and told that they wouldn't stand behind it because there is a One Year Warranty - again - no paperwork with our purchase. I was asked if I wanted to buy another door!?!?!?!?!?!? Are you kidding me? $1200 into a stained/installed door that shouldn't fail in 3 years and I am asked if I want to purchase another door? Yeah right. I will be buying another door - from someone else.

Installed an Infinity Sliding Patio Door with four layers of low e and sound reduction and a hemlock wood trim. Clean installation despite having to cut into the ceramic file floor by using professional protection covering. Also was only a half a day to install. Mike and Ken did a great job all around and came out a few weeks later to replace a bowed screen door and a marred cover piece, and now it looks perfect. Well worth the price but also a reasonable price considering the quality product and installation. Can highly recommend this company and the personnel as a high quality company that really does care about its customers. We ordered two banks of expensive Marvin windows…read moreback in February 2026 to replace some contractor-grade windows in our 2005 spec-home in North Spokane. We intend to start replacing a bank of windows every six months or a year. NW Window came out to measure and then we ordered the windows. It took five months to get them - which is fine, as I understand that they're custom built, and that takes time - and then NW Window tried to install them. The installers were great, but they quickly noticed that the upstairs windows were fine, but the legacy trim could not be reused with the downstairs bank of windows. The person who had measured the windows back in February did not catch that there was a difference in trim depth between the upstairs and the downstairs. The next thing I received from NW Window was a quote for an additional almost $2K (plus even more for staining) to rebuild the window trim. This was on top of a sale of windows that was almost $24K. I get that no one is perfect, but you need to own your mistakes. NW Window, on the other hand, simply blamed the original contractor of our home for having inconsistent trim depth and is trying to shift the cost of their mistake to me. I will definitely look for a different window supplier in the future and will note to the window manufacturer, Marvin, that it should look for a more conscientious reseller in the Spokane, Washington area. Please note the ragged, more-than-3/8" gap in the trim on the picture below. It's sort of amusing that NW Window includes the following on the bottom of its invoices: "The bitterness of POOR QUALITY and LACK OF SERVICE is remembered long after the sweetness of a LOW PRICE is forgotten. Thank you for your business." They should read their own documents, as this was definitely an example of very POOR QUALITY and LACK OF SERVICE.

He worked efficiently, and was transparent about what other issues my door had... the implications of my waiting to get recommended work done (and an affirmation that waiting would likely have no serious consequences!). After consulting Yelp I found Door Specialties and saw the had five stars. I decided to call them. They answered the phone despite that I called a few minutes before they open. They were able to send a repair person to my home within 2-3 hours who looked over the issue and provided me a quote. He was able to replace the spring and lube the rollers within just a few hours (he had to go get parts). I am extremely impressed with their customer service. They are prompt, provide accurate estimates and go the extra mile. I strongly recommend them!

I ended up purchasing the lumber for this particular project from a different company but was very happy with the service. In the process of putting up the new building, I had to build a new chicken coop and run. I got a quote and purchased all of that lumber from Discount for a great price. Most recently, I reached out to Chris about getting the metal for my pole building now that we are almost to that step. He worked with my builder and sent me a quote. The price blew anyone else out of the water. I immediately put in the order. Then, to top off the great service, the metal for my 40x64 building was ready the same day(today) I ordered it. Wow!
