Everything from start to finish with my orthodontic treatment has been above and beyond expectations. I was given a free, in-depth consultation at the beginning that thoroughly explained all my options, their costs, and their time requirements. Above that, they ensured me a promising finished product due to all of Dr. qualifications. I decided this was the orthodontist I'd go with and I ended up getting ceramic braces placed on both upper and bottom. Due to the fact that I was going to college a few hours from Castle Rock when I got my braces placed, I needed Meadows Orthodontics to be EXTREMELY flexible with me and my schedule; they were that plus some. They were very friendly and accommodating any time I needed to cancel or reschedule appointments. Each and every member of the staff I ever came into contact with was extremely friendly and out going and they always made me feel very comfortable and informed whenever I was getting an adjustment. Both offices were always very clean and welcoming each time I visited. They also appeared to have all of the latest orthodontic/dental technologies that most likely improved my overall experience and the ease of my treatment. Overall, the staff at Meadows Orthodontics made whats usually a very uncomfortable few years into a few easy-going and pleasant ones. Dr Lindsey was very nice and gentle and so was his staff. He explained the treatment, told us that he'll wait for the permanent teeth to come in and that is when it begins. He also asked to see our daughter every 6 months just to keep an eye on how it is progressing and what it is really nice is that he's not charging anything for these check up visits. I was advised, Dr. I has a network of colleagues across the United States and if I needed a replacement retainer I could go to one of them and receive a replacement. I asked up front the coast and it was free with the treatment. Contacted the office today for a retainer replacement was advised for $200. What a jerk just to get me in and take my money. We relocated to the area a couple of years ago and have put off finding a dentist until now. I just knew that I was going to get judged and reprimanded for avoiding the standard 6 month cleanings and check ups for so long. However, that wasn't the case at all. First, when I called and spoke with a lovely lady on the phone she was able to get my family members in the following day or very soon afterwards. (There are 5 of us). At my appointment this afternoon I felt that the Dr really took time with me and asked questions. My previous experience with dentists is that they come up behind you while you're lying in a chair with a mask on their face. They never spoke with me, did the drill thing and vanished. I couldn't pick them out in a line up. But, this Dr spoke with me and made me feel like my care was important to him. I was examined and my cleaning was awesome. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I felt comfortable to ask questions. Everything on the billing looked correct and I even asked for a reprint of my daughters bill, she had been there the previous day, to submit for reimbursement to our FSA, and the nice lady at the desk did it with no problems. She barely could understand anyone working there because everyone's English was very broken. She was told she needed a root canal, but come to find out she doesn't need one and if she got it it would have caused more harm than good. All the Doctors there are very pushy. They were very pushy about having us start her root canal that day, and then go back a week later to finish it. Thank goodness we didn't actually do the root canal there. Decided to go get a second opinion at a full fledge endodontics. They did a CT scan and X-rays and found there was never a need for a root canal. Just saved myself a lot of money and my daughter a bunch of trama and pain. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
