I decided this was the orthodontist I'd go with and I ended up getting ceramic braces placed on both upper and bottom. Due to the fact that I was going to college a few hours from Castle Rock when I got my braces placed, I needed Meadows Orthodontics to be EXTREMELY flexible with me and my schedule; they were that plus some. They were very friendly and accommodating any time I needed to cancel or reschedule appointments. Each and every member of the staff I ever came into contact with was extremely friendly and out going and they always made me feel very comfortable and informed whenever I was getting an adjustment. Both offices were always very clean and welcoming each time I visited. They also appeared to have all of the latest orthodontic/dental technologies that most likely improved my overall experience and the ease of my treatment. Overall, the staff at Meadows Orthodontics made whats usually a very uncomfortable few years into a few easy-going and pleasant ones. We relocated to the area a couple of years ago and have put off finding a dentist until now. I just knew that I was going to get judged and reprimanded for avoiding the standard 6 month cleanings and check ups for so long. However, that wasn't the case at all. First, when I called and spoke with a lovely lady on the phone she was able to get my family members in the following day or very soon afterwards. (There are 5 of us). At my appointment this afternoon I felt that the Dr really took time with me and asked questions. My previous experience with dentists is that they come up behind you while you're lying in a chair with a mask on their face. They never spoke with me, did the drill thing and vanished. I couldn't pick them out in a line up. But, this Dr spoke with me and made me feel like my care was important to him. I was examined and my cleaning was awesome. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I felt comfortable to ask questions. Everything on the billing looked correct and I even asked for a reprint of my daughters bill, she had been there the previous day, to submit for reimbursement to our FSA, and the nice lady at the desk did it with no problems. She did not require x-rays or a consultation as she is an established patient with recent x-rays, but they insisted. After 20 minutes of deliberating they agreed to do the cleaning with existing x-rays (which, aren't even required for this routine procedure). They were done in 10 minutes. As any dentist can tell you, even a routine cleaning with minimal buildup takes at the minimum 30 minutes. It was obvious they did not perform the service. I recommend a family-owned dentist with integrity. This is a corporate chain driven by sales. Just read their other reviews.
