Had not been to a nude club for over 10 years. I felt ripped off at a different club in Phoenix back then. Decided to never go again. I had time to kill before a flight out thought I would venture out and give a second try. Went to the Odyssey because they advertised no cover until 3pm. There was no cover charge before that time and there was a mandatory non-alcoholic drink. $6 for a Coke. Odd that the lady at the front abuses your politeness to coarse you in to paying a tip at the door because there was no cover charge. For a Sunday afternoon with plenty of football the same game on all TVs. Maybe 4 guys in the place and 3 dancers. When you go in the afternoon you can't expect lots of models. The 3 dancers there were attractive. Not overweight, friendly and pleasant for the eyes. I was fine with the overall experience until I decided to get a dance. The pretty girl offered my one song for $25 or 3 for $60. I opted for 3 dances at $60. I had to pay some bouncer $5 to go to the private area. That bothered me. By the time we sat in a chair the first song was half over. The dancer didnt really get undressed until the end of the second song. The third song was an ok dance and grind that I expected for 3 songs. I was a bit taken to be hustled for a tip. 10 years apart same kind of shady service promised and poorly rendered. I am thinking that more and more of these clubs have shady dealings such as this. 10 years from now when I go again maybe I find reviews of a club that deliver what they promise at the price quoted. Yeah I went there I thought I could get in the spaceship but that cost about $200 per half hour. I was considering having my bachelorette party at this place so I went it was $10 to get in as a female $20 for a male, you have to tip the girl and then there is a drink minimum where Red Bull cost $10 a can. We happen to see a very beautiful dancer immediately so that was good to start. There is a type of woman for every taste at this club. the rocker girl was really fun and have the best moves and also the best soundtrack which these strippers pic. DJ was calling us out from the parking lot as they have care about everybody seeing new people. 50 of us had a lot of fun and spend about $50 each sitting at the front. We weren't looking for anything RAUNCHY but I think it was available. Personally, I enjoyed sitting at the front getting all the attention and getting out of there before I am broke, it was a fun date night. The girls were very nice and most were decent looking like I said there were a few very good looking TNA. They have a freaking spaceship what do you want! it's an awesome landmark in Tampa,A classic. I am very very disappointed with this place. I have gone to my fair share of strip clubs and I have never had an experience like this. I pay $220 to go up into the champagne room only to have the dancer go AWOL for 10 minutes and then come back and later tell me she is stoned out of her mind. I later tell a manager about the issue and he gives me LESS than 25% of the money I paid for barely 8 minutes of a dance. this place is a Royal Scam. They refused to return my sons debit card unless he signed a receipt for 1000 more that the agreed amount. They pre-Authorized his debit card for 1200 and saw that it was good. After that they tried to take out 1700 and another 600.00 They ended up getting him for 1139.00 and still have the 1200.00 pre-authorization pending on his account. Only reason I don't give this place 2 stars is because of the women. There are a few good looking girls. My friend's first time at a strip club and the girl took him back for a lap dance and didn't stop dancing for 3 songs. Then charged him $75! Outrageous prices. You're going to want to read this all. I have never been subject to a more expensive scam in my entire life. After paying 20 dollars to get in and buying the "mandatory" drink, I realized there were no seats available at the stage. This would have been fine except the lady collecting the entry fee assured me there would be. My buddies and I agreed to go in based on this fact. Time passes while multiple girls ask us individually to partake in a lap dance. By the way, these girls were nothing to drool over. Mons Venus across the street annihilates them. Here comes the best part. I get approached thirty minutes in by a woman advertising of multiple things what they call the "champagne room." It costs $400, and entails a private 1-on-1 show in a back room for 30 minutes. It did not seem worth it to me at all so I began to bargain. The stripper and I agreed on 45 minutes in the room where she would blow me. Even oral sex isn't worth $400, but I was willing to shell it out for the story I could tell. Once I agreed, she hurried me to the ATM to retrieve the cash. A hostess showed us to the room and brought us sparkling juice. Are you fucking kidding me? The stripper insisted I give the hostess a $20 tip at that point. For the next thirty minutes, the stripper proceeded to rub on me with my pants on as I constantly reminded her about the blowjob. That is what I paid for. She kept repeating, "I have to warm us up first." At this point, I confirmed my suspicions that this was a scam. And surely enough it was. She left after 30 minutes, not 45 and obviously did not even touch my penis. I told her I was not leaving the room, and I wanted my money back. I sat there for 15 minutes until two bouncers approached me and asked if I had proof of this agreement. Of course I didn't stop to pull out a tape recorder while I was striking a deal with a stripper so I ended up having to walk out of there a total of $450 short of what I walked in with. I have never been so upset about how a business is run. I understand it is a strip club and you can't expect much, but a customer willing to pay $400 is not someone I would want to upset. We were talked into going to this club by a Taxi driver. Said it was better than Mons Venus. Such a lie. I found out later they get money for each fair they drop off. This place also requires you to buy a drink plus the admission. They advertised "Couples Friendly" yet every girl I ask to get my lady friend a dance was told "No, I only do guys. We asked over 5 girls and even asked few for a lady who would give a dance, most of them ran away. Girls acted stuck up even to us the guys. If you are a couple looking to have a good time I stay away from here. Then, when you decide you want a lap dance, the dancer will take you to a "private" area, where, surprise, there is a bouncer expecting YOU to tip him for taking your money. Meanwhile, during the lap dance, the dancer won't let up about how much fun and better it would be up in the saucer. I tried that too. Surprise! There is a lady THERE that you are supposed to tip for - guess what - taking your money. At some point it will be mentioned that although you paid for the lap dance, a tip is appreciated. Anyway, I went last night and again, not sure what happened, but the girls were NOT the same. Ugly, either cr*ckhead skinny or a little/lot overweight. The club itself is small, which is fine, but not okay if I'm getting asked for dances and rooms by the girls who all weren't even close to attractive. The girls this club had before were HOT, super hot to say the least. I also saw a lot of girls who were at least 30 (not super old, but in this industry, pretty old) there. It's also HIGHLY expensive for a sleazy nude club. $425/$450 for a half-hour champagne room with alcohol-free champagne and $200-$300 for a 15-30 minute private dance upstairs. Money is not an issue, but when it comes to the girl value, it is. 2001 needs to lower their prices for the girls they hire. Much hotter girls elsewhere. read more
