We were told about the burgers here, so we had to check it out. Kimberly brought them out to us and we were pleasantly surprised. Thick and juicy like a burger should be. With great tasting fries and really delicious sweet tea. The atmosphere was very welcoming, friendly and festive. The desert bar was tempting but we were traveling so we passed on dessert. Awesome spot, I have heard good reviews and was finally in the area to try it. Glad I did, we walked in sign said sit to the left we grabbed a table and were greeted instantly. Drink orders were taken then we ordered our food. I ordered the kids pancake and bacon then was going to get two pancakes and a side of homefries, but our kind waitress Amber helped save me some money and ordered a stack of pancakes with bacon and side of homefries with an extra plate. pent 70 dollars on take out, door dash for my father's day breakfast. Ordered corn beef, got bacon, eggs ice cold, got homefries instead of hash browns. No utensils, no condiments missing grits. First and last time I'm ordering from here, and JHO JHO DINER in palatka referred this place. High reviews because not to many options left in east palatka. So we drove quite far out of our way because we've always wanted to try this place. The reviews look very promising. Upon entering we Noticed it was really dark inside. The seats were really uncomfortable. We ordered and my burger was the WORST food of I've ever had in my like. It tasted old, was way over cooked and dry. It was so bad I spit it out. The fries you can tell are cheap and frozen. They were SOAKED in oil then flash fried. The waitress told me she's not sure what happened bc she loves their burger and I should come back when they're not busy so they can cook it better. My husband asked if they have Heinz ketchup. she said they have something different but it's whatever is laying around. My husband had a tiny bowl of greens ($4) and a gyro. Today is Father's Day I ordered my husband myself and my son breakfast $63 total, we order the #4 corn beef hash and did even receive it. Ordered sausage didn't get it frozen strawberries for my son's pancakes. Food was cold. No syrup nothing, so we decided to drive to the restaurant and speak with the manager upon arriving my husband was told to "shhhush" and that he was being irate for asking for his food to be made properly and he expressed that we were recommended to go there by another dinner here in town and we were told "well we're not johjohs dinner". Which we agreed with if your thinking about stopping here for a meal Dave yourself time money and your sanity and go to johjohs staff there is amazing and food is reasonably priced and always delicious! This place is awesome. The inside is so nicely decorated and clean. Our waitress was Amber she was so helpful and friendly. We both really enjoyed our meals. I got the Greek omelette with hash browns and my husband got the country fried steak with home fries & toast. The menu had a large variety to choose from including lunch & dinner options. Fridays is prime rib I will be coming back for that for sure. It smells great inside and other customers food looked really good too as it went by. The bathrooms are clean if you follow my reviews you know how I feel about this. We will be back! read more

Great diner spot. Only been for breakfast but if dinner is as good, we will be trying in the future. Service was very good and consistent, been there several times. Very attentive and helpful. Instant service - instant drinks and order in - food came really fast - really hot - I had a Western Omelette- veggies seasoned and grilled but not over grilled - nice chunks of grilled ham - Grits and a great biscuit - my wife had (really good) Corned Beef Hash Grits and a biscuit! Your greeted with smiles an hellos an seated right away. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went for breakfast an it was very good and came out fast. The customer service was spot on perfect as well. The food came out fast l. I had eggs with cheese an a side of grits an it was very good. My husband had an omelette with potato's an it was also very good. We're excited to go back and try lunch and dinner. First two times when this place first opened we visited this establishment the food was extremely good and the service was very quick and professional. Third time I ended up sick all day and night from the food and had to go to the doctors. I had nothing else to eat except their food. I did not go back for months. At one point my husband wanted to try it once more to see if it got any better. It was awful. I will never ever visit this establishment again. All you get are excited after excuses. read more

We recently moved to this area and wanted to try it out. I wasn't really impressed. The food was decent. I had a western omelette and the peppers and onions seemed like they weren't cooked very long. The service was decent. Our meal was 34.71 so I handed her a 50 and she gave me back 15 dollars so she shorted me .29 cents which isn't a huge deal so I didn't say anything. Just came from eating breakfast. This is the second time I did not get my toast with my meal. Last time it came at very end and wasn't rye like I requested. This time not at all. I was finished with my meal-no thanks. Waitress never came back to check on us. We never got a coffee refill. Had to sit and wait for check. We asked 2 other waitresses for help-nothing happened.
