Stopped in for breakfast & it was wonderful! Everything was cooked to order, fresh & delicious. This sweet sweet dive was just what the doctor ordered this morning. Service was friendly & fast. I believe this is now called lit bits and it is my favorite place to eat breakfast and or lunch. Great home cooked food,fast and made to order. Also prices for meals are fantastic. Home town atmosphere. read more

Thought this hole in the wall would be good because of the number of cars in the parking lot. How wrong I was. The food was not that good but more disconcerting was the interior seating, tables and the servers. Dear God buy some chairs without holes in the cushions and get some tables that match. I mean appearances go a long way. If you were trying to go for "trashy hole in the wall", you succeeded. Just because you are country doesn't mean you can't appear clean. The servers, please tell them that putting their fingers in my food or in my drink IS NOT what a customer wants to see!!!! All food should be brought out on a tray and not in their hands!! Also, the servers are just down right rude with no sense of priority to the customer. Also, don't bring a spoon to a customer with your bare hands. For Gods sake put it in a napkin!! The food - the Salisbury steak was so tough that I couldn't eat it. The ground beef was just gross. Cornbread is NOT cake nor is it sweet!!! Cornbread is crusty, crunchy and grainy- it's not meant to taste like a sheet cake. Tea, it needs flavor and not something from a can. The okra was good but you can't really screw up a deep fried item unless you try. Not sure about the other items however they did look better than mine. This is one customer that will not be back. These places can be great and I so wanted this one to be. I was very disappointed. I hope she survives. read more

Pretty dirty and trashy. Not a huge fan but the cheese burger was surprisingly good. Not somewhere I would stop again to be honest. It was packed though so the locals love it. read more

Good home cooking, good prices and decent portions neither too big nor too small. Friendly service with lots of locals stopping in for breakfasts or lunches. A big enough selection to appease anyone's tastes. Nothing fancy, but even first timers feel right at home. read more

The food is so-so, but the waiting staff is rude and unhygienic. My biggest complaint is that I ordered a dish advertised at around $5, but was given a $12 bill. When asking why, the waiting staff went hillbilly crazy on me. I gladly paid $12 to never have to return. Not sure why people insist on eating at a place with such disrespectful staff. read more

Avoid at all cost. The quality has been going downhill for a long time. Last time we was there the eggs we ordered over medium came out hard and with large black specks on them. When we asked about them and if the grill had been cleaned, we was told that the grill had been cleaned and that the specks was pepper we put on them. WE DID NOT TOUCH THE PEPPER! And the specks were at least a 1/4 inch in diamiter. Very rude service and very dirty. read more

The absolute worst dining experience ever. First, the restroom was very nasty, second, the table had water in the seat and continued leaking, third, I ordered breakfast, which the server stated that it was their specialty on Saturday mornings, the biscuits were apparently hours old, the were spongy and appeared to be recently taken out of a microwave, the bacon was served in a small plate that was covered in grease and was sitting in a puddle, the hash browns were cold and stale. I asked the server if there was any fresh food available, she raised her voice at me, and spoke loud enough for the entire dining room of people heard her response, she called me a liar, and was very rude, non professional, non concerned about the business, and stated food was freshly prepared. I left and stated I was never returning. A rating of 0 would be too high!!! The most pitiful excuse for a food service place I have ever visited. read more
