My work building has a casino theme wine down wednesday every year during December and they have 21 Fun Casino Party there. I always have fun playing the blackjack table. I just learned how to play poker this year because one of the workers, EJ taught me how to play. They are all very nice and are willing to teach you and explain the rules of the games to newbies like me.

    Great crew!

The first one went great, I was ahead and feeling confident. Later, I came back thinking I could squeeze out just a little more... and ended up giving it all back plus another $200. That's gambling in a nutshell. The dealers were professional, the games moved smoothly, and the staff kept everything organized. The real battle wasn't against the casino, it was against my own discipline. Walking away while you're ahead is much harder than it sounds. If you're coming here, set a budget, stick to it, and remember that entertainment should come first. The biggest lesson I took home wasn't about cards or luck, it was about self-control. Just don't forget that the hardest decision you'll make all night might be deciding to leave while you're still winning. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful regards. As always, gamble responsibly!

And it hits every time! Over the years, I have slowly grown out of only ordering the longsilog (longanisa, egg, rice hold breakfast combo). However, it's still delicious. I just don't remember it being the price it is now. Will I still be there? Hell yeah! (side note, they have some of the best halo halo). halo halo the ice is melted shaved ice texture, not sweet at all, you choose either mango or ube ice cream inside, jellies, and rice cereal. (I'm going off memory here, so the rice cereal might be incorrect. just order it, you won't regret it!). soft scrambled egg with shrimp and rice this is in the rice plates section on the menu (I had to look it up, I never noticed it before). the sauce was slightly sweet but the meal was completely destroyed. fried chicken I mean; never thought it would be GOOD, but my boyfriend was so adamant about me testing it.. and it's delicious. crispy skin (almost like chips), juicy, flavorful, and with mangtomas sauce!! longsilog my tried and true? ugh, the suka too (vinegar), incredible. garlic rice? always a huge and delicious portion. god I miss it. bangus sisig bang-oose. milkfish for those that don't know. ugh, the jalapeno, tomato, lime!! and the flavor on this? I could marry it. it's also a favorite in the family, so we order this almost every time we see it. the skin? crispy. amazing every time. you're gonna come here for the gambling, but might as well eat some good food while you're here too.

While playing poker, I placed an order for food. After some time, a server walked by with food, and I tho its mine, so I asked if it was mine. He responded, "No it's not, when will be yours I will give to you," His tone came across with a bit of attitude, and I noticed he interacted similarly with other guests as well. Eventually, he brought my food. I paid with a $100 bill, and the total came out to $14, which I paid exactly--so I did not leave a tip. As the server walked away, I clearly heard him say something along the lines of "f***ing cheap," which was completely unprofessional and inappropriate.i I then tried to address the situation with management. I first spoke to another manager (an Asian gentleman), who dismissed the issue by saying it wasn't his department raising his shoulders and directed me to someone named Benny. When I spoke with Benny, his response was minimal--just "okay"--and he didn't seem to take any immediate action or show concern, waited for little bit no updates or looks, nothing happened here. To make matters worse, shortly after that interaction, I saw the same server walking around and making an offensive gesture (raising his middle finger behind his back in a way that I could see). That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment, especially one that expects tips and repeat customers. Later, the general manager, Michael, came to speak with me. He stated that he could not force the employee to apologize and that they would conduct an investigation--but that was the extent of the resolution offered. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression. Between the poor service, inappropriate comments, lack of accountability, and weak response from management, I would strongly caution others about the level of customer service here. So watch out don't get offended, wait for attitudes and behaviors, from long time employees what take their work for granted, old times used to be better.

Greeted by a super friendly hostess who seated us in a booth with menus immediately. Really clean restaurant. Kudos to our server Sieana who was incredibly gracious and described our meals perfectly. I had the meatloaf dinner and my girlfriend had the fish & chips. Both were a large portion. Possibly the best meatloaf I've ever had? So good especially the sauce on the meatloaf. The fish & chips with 3 large pieces of fish and plenty of french fries with coleslaw slaw on the side. When we first sat down and greeted by Sieana we had our waters filled and drink orders taken. I believe one of the managers brought us out a small dish of house potato chips and a homemade ranch dip...LOL...My girlfriend loves her chips! Overall a really excellent Sunday afternoon meal out with my girlfriend. We then hit the casino floor for some fun. She won a few hundred and I lost same. All in all a day out having fun. There is a free well-maintained parking lot on the side and back of the casino, and it was easy to find a parking spot. I also saw a free shuttle bus taking people to/from the San Bruno BART station. There is only one restaurant which serves both American food (helmed by an American chef) and Chinese food (helmed by a Chinese chef). There is a direct entrance to the restaurant on San Mateo Ave, although you can walk through the casino from the main entrance to the back right area labeled "Bar". You order & pay at the counter and find a table and they will bring out the food to you on a cart when it is ready. There were plenty of tables on a Sunday evening ~6pm. All items already have tax included. They also have 4 different types of cakes (chocolate, carrot, tres leches, etc) and other desserts you can purchase. You get your own free water by the bar area of the restaurant. No need to bus your own table; there is a busboy who occasionally walks around cleaning up the plates and wiping down tables. Within the context of everyday no-frills cuisine, I would rate the food a 3.5/5. NY steak $28 - there was a nice grilled flavor and it was cooked perfectly medium but the meat itself was a little tough/chewy (which is why I prefer other cuts, but I can't be too picky here). It came with decently flavored mashed potatoes & gravy and a good-sized portion of sauteed vegetables. Chicken Parmesan $19. Generous portion. Came with fettuccine with tomato / marinara sauce. The sauce was a little too sour for my liking, and the chicken itself was a little dry. Shrimp with lobster sauce $22. Sauce doesn't actually have lobster (it's more of a thick Chinese black bean sauce with bits of minced pork, sauteed onions, and bell peppers). It's served over white rice. It was surprisingly hearty. I liked how there was enough sauce to coat each spoonful of rice. I personally would not return because I don't have a reason to gamble here and I don't like getting carded when entering (which I guess you could consider a compliment), but if you did spend the day here at the tables, the restaurant isn't a bad choice to have lunch/dinner.

The lobby is massive, with plenty of comfortable seating near the bar, making it a nice place to relax or meet up with friends. One night I ended up ordering food and she just ate it there and relaxed for about an hour. One feature I really appreciated was the 24/7 convenience market located inside the lobby. There's also a FedEx office right next door, which is incredibly convenient if you need to print, ship, or handle any last-minute business while traveling. I had visited Cityscape at the hotel before, but this was my first time actually staying here. I booked a Balcony Suite, and the balcony ended up being my favorite part of the entire stay. I've stayed at other Hilton properties with balconies, but this one was significantly larger. It had two chairs and a small table, making it the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the incredible city views. If you're considering upgrading to a balcony room, I'd definitely recommend it. The room itself was what I would expect from a Hilton. Comfy beds, an in-room safe, mini fridge, and a tablet that provides information about hotel amenities and local attractions. You can even use the tablet to set alarms and access helpful information about the city. The staff throughout my stay were friendly, professional, and helpful whenever I had questions. I also checked out the pool area, which is nicely tucked away between the hotel towers. The pool is heated, and there is a Jacuzzi/hot tub available as well. The only downside is that the pool area closes at 9 PM, which felt a little early. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy it because of the early closing time. My one real complaint was the bathroom's sliding door. It repeatedly came off its track, which became frustrating throughout the stay. Eventually, we just left it open because it seemed to derail almost every time someone used the bathroom. One thing visitors should be aware of is the surrounding area. (The tenderloin ). The hotel itself felt safe and well-maintained, but like many parts of downtown San Francisco, some of the nearby blocks have a noticeable homeless presence and open drug use. It wasn't an issue during my stay, but it's something worth knowing if you're unfamiliar with the area. If you're driving, be aware that hotel parking starts at over $70 per night plus tax. I ended up using a parking garage across the street and saved quite a bit of money. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning. Between the excellent location, helpful staff, spacious balcony, heated pool, and incredible views, this hotel offers a great San Francisco experience. If the bathroom door issue had been fixed and the pool stayed open a little later, this would have easily been a 5-star stay.

It's located in the Tenderloin neighborhood and surrounding areas can be a bit questionable, so just be aware and maybe avoid walking down certain nearby streets. Outside of the hotel is fine and they keep the areas and security in check. At night you must show your room key and they only keep one doorway unlocked.
