We were surprised by the number of vendors from local farms, handmade goods, and variety of food vendors. My mini Yelper walked away with fresh tomatoes and matcha, the rest of us snacked on boiled peanuts, and I couldn't resist datil blueberry jam and datil citrus salt. If you don't already know, datil is everywhere in St. Augustine thanks to Minorcan settlers who brought it centuries ago. You'll see datil everything in St Augustine because the peppers thrive in the soil here & love the hot, humid climate. Anyway, come hungry and ready to support local. It's a green market so they also encourage you to bring reusable bags.

RAM is just a vibe. We make this a weekly stop and bring our dogs. There is something for everyone here. The outside lanes are devoted to local food vendors and food trucks respectively. Tons of great bakeries, produce and coffee selections. Inside, art, jewelry, and on stage, local talent weekly. Some of my favorite food vendors are 1748 Bakehouse and Mixed Fillings. The art vendors differ week to week and we've made a few purchases. Most importantly, this is THE highlight of the week for my dogs. They get to mingle with other dogs and people and they smile the entire time we're there. This is THE event to start your weekend in the Jacksonville area. If you haven't been, I highly encourage you to visit RAM.

I've had some corn here that rivals my beloved and much missed Midwest sweet corn. The candy cane beets are a rare treat. From dill to blueberries to zucchini and yellow squash, it's all been so very good. Prices are reasonable, downright excellent considering the quality, freshness and light eco-footprint. Right now their hours are limited to Saturdays from 8-noon. There's plenty of stuff, but early is better if you're looking for something that's just coming in or on it's way out. I've ordered my first $20 basket for delivery next week. I'll update my review with pictures and impressions after I get it. All the folks working the place are friendly and helpful. They offer gloves and sanitizer at the start of the line to help out in these tricky times. Overall, this is a great spot to check out. You won't find everything you're looking for, but the stuff is fresh and it's a buy-local win.

Despite living less than 3 miles away I had not been to the Flea Marker in years. We entered on the East side and when we reached the West side I spied PLANTS. At first I was somewhat disappointed by the size. The owner then said there is more outside. Our plant loving hearts missed a beat. The collection of plants is massive and the prices fair Check out the whole market. There are many interesting stalls holding treasures.
