After a few samples I decided to purchase a few things. I have been trying to find a Yellow Watermelon for sometime and I finally got one and it did not disappoint. I also grabbed some colored bell peppers some super sweet juicy peaches and a few plum. I didnt think it would be what it was but I was pleased with the market and all the friendly vendors. They grow more than 50% of flowers on their farm and if you ever get a chance to buy a bouquet, you won't be sorry. Absolutely as gorgeous as their produce! I happen to visit their booth at the Jax Arts District Farmers Market in Riverside on Wednesdays and the woman working it is very knowledgeable about the farm and agriculture. The actual farmer wasn't present, but I believe she said that he has been working his farm for over a decade. That's pretty impressive and very progressive especially for the Jacksonville area seeing that I grew up south of Gainesville where most of the bigger farms are located. The prices are so reasonable for the quality and varieties offered here. Just check out their in-season produce and flowers so you'll know what I mean. I took photos. :)

RAM is just a vibe. We make this a weekly stop and bring our dogs. There is something for everyone here. The outside lanes are devoted to local food vendors and food trucks respectively. Tons of great bakeries, produce and coffee selections. Inside, art, jewelry, and on stage, local talent weekly. Some of my favorite food vendors are 1748 Bakehouse and Mixed Fillings. The art vendors differ week to week and we've made a few purchases. Most importantly, this is THE highlight of the week for my dogs. They get to mingle with other dogs and people and they smile the entire time we're there. This is THE event to start your weekend in the Jacksonville area. If you haven't been, I highly encourage you to visit RAM.

The 210 Farmers market is only quite literally a couple of tents put together in the Watson Realtors parking lot. The market is held the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10am - 3pm. There are vendors with fruits and veggies, homemade miniature muffins, there has been a seafood vendor out of Mayport who has had a booth on occasion, a Brit who has a bakery down south who sells the most wonderful meat and sheppard pies and a specialty pasta vendor whom has more than once overwhelmed me with the endless array of bizarre handmade pastas that he sells. Perhaps now that the weather is warmer more vendors will start setting up shop at this market, in the meantime I am happy with the few who have loyally continued to set up shop on County Road 210 over this last year.

Even a Swap Meet feel where people could purchase booths or bring their own table to see consignment items, Handmade, up cycling items, used items like swip swap is a better idea.
