This is a horrible company to work with. I would highly recommend anyone for wiring, audiovisual, and alarm systems to not use this company, have nothing but problems and issues for two years getting service next to impossible. They cancel all the time and equipment just malfunctions and the wiring has nothing but issues, I do not recommend this company look on further. 24/7 Audio Video has been a life saver for us. Several years ago they initially coordinated all our "remotes" so all we need is one remote control device to operate our TV, DVD, CD, etc., including our outdoor speakers in just one universal remote. They came back once when we added a new cable box and when one of our speakers wasn't working. They techs who have come are excellent! They diagnose the problem and get it working quickly. I recently had to have Cox out since we couldn't stream from Amazon; we received error messages that the bandwidth wasn't sufficient! The first guy came and said we needed the "new" small box because Cox is going all digital. I thought that since out TV'S were digital, we didn't need the box. Apparently to boost cable revenue, you need the "new box" regardless. So we had to wait for a second cable guy, who came yesterday and installed the box, but in the process of making sure "everything was working," unplugged one little plug that made two TV'S not work. Of course, I didn't turn on either TV until after Cable Guy Left! So today Jeremy from 24/7 Audio Video came. He quickly figured out what Cable Guy did and had both TV'S working in no time . I so appreciate that they were able to come out so quickly. They are the best, and I highly recommend 24/7 Audio Video! read more

I have a Control 4 System and I love it....but, as with all of these systems, things change....and to know that I have a group I can turn to that can get to be within a reasonable timeframe.....and, KNOWS THEIR STUFF....is fabulous. The last time they were out to service their failing equipment they charged me for the service call and didn't even shake my hand on the way out. Rob ( the owner ) let me down recently ( Feb 2016) Big Time !! Over the years I utilized there services multiple times. These services mostly included taking down my home theater rooms, then reinstalling at my new residence. A few weeks back Rob confirmed that his crew would be at my residence on " moving day " at 8 AM. 9 AM comes around & still no Rob & no sign of his crew. I call his scheduler & she says that " I am not on the schedule ". That's odd I said because just 2 days earlier I reconfirmed this with Rob. Minutes later Rob calls me and admits that he screwd up & said he was sorry ! I said sorry wasn't good enough & that his huge mistake was affecting many other people attached to my move. The techs were fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and got the job done quickly. Found trouble with our Cat5 cable in the living room so they replaced it with Cat6. I wrote a review of this company several months back, and not favorably, because of service and lack of response. The owner finally reached out to me a couple of months after I had written my review and indicated that he was never made aware that there was an issue and he would be happy to discuss what had happened and try to resolve my displeasure. I again gave a blistering response and after thinking about it several weeks decided that I should reach out to the owner and see if he was sincere in his response. While I was not able to speak with Rob directly, I did speak at length with Stephen. He was WONDERFUL. I explained what had happened and he asked what it would take to resolve the issue. Stephen got back to me shortly and indicated that Rob would resolve this issue as I had requested and that the technicians who had made the original service call would be talked to. While I can't speak to their service, I can honestly say now that this company does stand behind what they do and did work to make me happy and resolve my issue. read more

Well, I finally upgraded my home audio and video system after many years of wanting to do this. After waiting too long to find the right person, I attempted my search again and discovered Rob, owner of 24/7 audio video. Rob came over with his IPAD on time just one week before the super bowl and assessed my expensive yet dysfunctional system hat was now going on 12 years old. He listened to my explanation of the system and how it worked and what I wanted to accomplish. He took great notes, made recommendations and wrote up his estimate about 1 day later. After approving his estimate, his install team Brandon and Adam and programmer Jeremy showed up on time and worked two days to fully get it done. After installing 5 TVs, 2 apple TVs, 2 blue rays, 3 receivers and 5 sat boxes using Direct TV, they did an amazing job integrating it all. Also, ceiling speakers were installed in two rooms and new center speakers were installed (all in wall) to make it all sound awesome. Headphones are great for when only one of us cares to listen and the outdoor zone is awesome with its great flexibility to listen to TV or any other audio. I can't say enough about Rob and his team, I'm very grateful and would highly recommend them for big and small jobs alike. I give 24 7 a 10 out of 10 in all respects. I hired 24/7 to install an entertainment system in my Chandler, AZ home consisting of Denon receiver, Apple TV, BluRay, DirectTV, dual zone entertainment zone, Smart TV, extended Internet, and universal remote with RF capability. I designed the cabinets for the components with input from 24/7 and 24/7 selected the equipment to fit it. When installed the components fit very snugly in the cabinets, making it nearly impossible to work on it, change cables or do any type of maintenance. Most of the cables they used were no longer than 3m. Any time you move a component, a cable comes loose. Recently our zone 2 Apple TV stopped working. We called 24/7 with a list of items that we had questions about. We made an appointment so I could be present when the tech arrived. Much to my wife's surprise the tech showed up over an hour early, making it impossible for me to be there for the meeting. Luckily I had left the list at the house. At the end of the day the tech did not address all of the items on my list, spoke about things that he knew my wife would not know about and they charged $155 to take a look. Part of their recommendation was to replace our Apple TV because the digital optical cable had broken off inside the Apple TV and the Apple TV needed to be replaced. The reason it broke off is because the cable was cheap and way too short. The tech did not have a replacement cable on his truck. He recommended that we have them re-wire the entire system at $155 per hour when we had them back to replace the Apple TV and related cable because all of the cables were too short!!!!! One of the items on my list that they did not address was a delay in the RF remote from the time you push buttons on the remote until the components respond. I called the office and spoke with Tiana later that day when I got home and my wife explained what happened. Tiana proceeded to tell me that we would have to pay another $99 or so (on top of the $155 that we had already paid) to have a different tech come out to re-program our remote! She said that remotes are like computers and have to be "refreshed" every couple of years at $99 a pop. Needless to say I passed on her recommendation. After the tech left my wife unplugged the Apple TV and removed the broken digital optical cable. She took pliers and pulled the broken piece out - something the tech never tried to do. It took her 10 seconds. Because the tech did not have a cable on his truck I purchased a new 6m replacement digital optical cable online. I plugged it into my existing and, according to 24/7, no longer usable Apple TV, and everything works fine. No new Apple TV was needed and the zone 2 sound is back. Further, the remote did not need to be "refreshed" for $99 as Tiana told me. We merely open the cabinet doors when watching TV and the remote works just fine and with no delay. If anything, the RF box needs to be replaced. It is extremely frustrating to rely on "professionals" to assist with things like this, only to have them try to charge you for things you don't need. BEWARE of 24/7! read more
