Huge inside with two stories of equipment and plenty of televisions to keep you entertained while you're climbing, walking, running. The thirty minute workout area was empty when I was here at 5:30 am and that made it easy to do my circuit and be done. Showers were clean with both changing stalls and a "double" shower area where you can change out of your workout clothes and into your street clothes after cleaning up. Lots of hot water once I was able to work out how the tap operated. Always different! Plenty of space for my stuff and my toiletries while showering. Squeaky clean and ready for the week ahead! I am just starting to work out and i tried another gym for one month but i didn't feel that i was welcome there. When i went to check out girlfriends gym it was far more welcoming than the previous one i tried. They have zumba classes here as well as most of the typical equipment you would find in any gym. It's 24 hour access which is nice. It's small but usually not too crowded. The price of a membership is reasonable (24-30 per month) The only downside for some might be that some of the weights don't go over 30 pounds or so.

As one of hundreds of former Y members that cancelled and moved memberships elsewhere, I sincerely hope things one day change with the leadership and culture of that enterprise. Joplin deserves so much better.
