Ordered a bracelet and when I went to pick it up the owner yelled at my boyfriend who was there just to pick it up cause her and one of her workers lost the bracelet then another worker was finally able to look and found it. Then I took it back to get it sized and remove two links. I was told it would be done the next day. It has been a week and I still haven't received my bracelet. I asked a friend who worked there to ask if it was done 2 days after and was told they haven't even started on the jewelry. The owner is very rude not just to the customers but to some of her workers. Officially lost my business. I highly don't recommend. read more

I took a wedding band set to be sized, onceit was done the owner told me that the ring was Puter, but worked on it anyway. Once I got home the rings snapped, I took them back the next day. The owner then proceeded to speak very loud in a store full of customers about the ring not being real, and that she was sick on the set already. I asked if it was puter as she said why work on something you can be held liable for? Once I got the set back for the second time it snapped again, so I took it to a jewelry store. It was found that my set was indeed 24k white gold bur 24k jewelry sized my set with some type of fake metal. Needless to say its cheaper for me to purchase a new set instead of fixing it, because they destroyed my rings. Never will I do any business there again. read more

Do not do business with 24 k. Recently we took in 4 pieces of jewelry for repair and only ended up with 3 pieces in return. The owner literally stole a precious bracelet from me. I trusted this business as a member of the community, but boy was I wrong. The owner blaintely lied to my face and fabricated a story. After doing a little research, it seems this has happened in the past with other customers. Those who where taken advantage of need to report this business to the BBB and any other outlets available to stop this behavior. The media is a good place to start. I dropped off three chains to be fixed and a coin to be engraved. The coin came out with uneven engraving and when I asked about it the clerk said she hadn't even noticed it. When I commented that one of the chains was fixed with a clasp larger than what I had requested the clerk told me I would be happy for it when I was older and it wouldn't be changed. I had been quoted a 20-25 charge for the three fixes and the engraving. I was charged 62 dollars. When I commented it was triple the amount I was told that's the way it goes. I will never go to this store again nor would I ever recommend it. Avoid! read more

I highly suggest not using this company. I love to support local businesses, but this is beyond bad service. Older lady that works here is always rude. For no reason at all . She just hates her job . She's rude on the phone and in person. She was also rude to my daughter. My 11 year old daughter had more manners in this situation than she did . Have been doing business with 24 Karat for nearly 11 years. Where I worked before we always purchased our plaques and awards from 24 Karat. Extremely pleasant personnel, excellent customer service, and wonderful people in general. They know their business will give you options and recommendations. You expect the best and you receive the best in all aspects. My husband and I have been going here for years for gifts, watch repair and jewelry repair. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BY MANAGER EVER. PERIOD. I am sad to write this but I felt like I should. What I thought was a great experience turned out to be terrible. A week before I needed a gift to surprise my husband at a dinner I had planned , I went here to find a small gift for my husband for his 10 years of active duty in the Marine Corps . The sales girl there was very nice and went around the store to help me find the perfect gift. I decided on a multi tool that could be engraved, since my husband is handy and could use another tool to keep in his truck. The item retailed there at $22. The cost of my engraving was $28 and was of writing and the outline of three states. The item was ordered. I went to pick it up about 5 days later and one of the states was the wrong state. The sales girl admitted it was her mistake and felt terrible which I understood was an honest mistake. I agreed to talk to the manager and she said she would just reorder me a new one and added "its not like he's moving or anything" and said I could pick it up and "just give it to him later" on Tuesday the next week. I was disappointed but agreed to it. Tuesday came and went with no call from this store, and the rescheduled dinner had to happen with no gift. Wednesday I called and they said my item was not even at the store and was not ready but they would let me know when it was in. I asked to speak to the manager again. She got on the phone and breathlessly told me it would be here soon and I could come get it then. She added "its not like he is in Afganistan so it shouldn't matter, just one more day." The added that her sales girl felt horrible and I am really mean to make her feel so bad about it as the cost is coming out of her paycheck already." Honestly I was furious. I asked her for my money back on the item ($58 bucks) and said I was very disappointed that they did not call me if the item was delayed. She added then "its a gift, a thing. Not the end of the world. And I cannot have my money back." I told her I would never do business there again. She then offered to call my husband and tell him that she was sorry for the delay. I explained its a surprise and that would ruin everything I had done. She said that was all I was getting. AS of now I still have not gotten my item and another day has passed. Never do business here if timing and delivery or customer service matters to you. PS. The sales girl was very nice so they have that going for them. read more
