No problems but the coolant put back in was green instead of the yellow. I also had them price changing the 4 spark plugs which their estimate was $504.51. I changed them myself for $70.00 and only took an hour. I have always been a customer for several years but now question the fair pricing. The work was done satisfactory but question pricing. I'm looking elsewhere now.

I drove it to Louisville and ended up with a smoking, leaking car, dead in Oxmoor Malls parking lot. I immediately called the shop. Was told they would look at it but I would have to pay to tow it back to them...even though this is covered work under their "garauntee" and warranty given for the motor work. I paid $400 to tow it back to them. Upon inspection, they found that the water pump had not been installed and secured back to the frame after the motor install and this led to it breaking in the journey to Louisville. I have called these people multiple times I've spoken with multiple people. I have received pushback on everything except for giving them money. They did not stand behind their warranty and they did not fix the car. I am now having to buy a new car because not only is the engine light still on, but the car still does not run, months later. I highly discourage anyone from taking a vehicle to these people to have any work done they will steal your money and leave you with the remnants. I am sure they're gonna have plenty to say about this. If you have questions message me I have Receipts text messages and phone calls. Do not give these people your money.

I shot Chris a text and he replied right away. He asked what kind of vehicle I had, engine size, and what type of oil I preferred. He said he would come to my house the next day at 2:00 and get it done while I was working. Chris showed up at 1:45 and was done by 2:20, he also fixed some dashboard warning lights and reset a few things for me at no charge. He's a really nice guy, on time, professional, and does a great job. Very reasonably priced, too, actually cheaper than any other place I've had my oil changed at, and without having to leave my house. I'll be using Chris moving forward and highly recommend that you do, too.

However, over the past few months I had begun to experience difficulty with the A/C system...would occasionally work though more often not. I was worried about the cost of diagnostic procedures, and once the problem was located, about the cost of repairs. After taking the car to another shop, the freon pressure was deemed appropriate but their options/ideas were stifled at that point. They did suggest taking the car down to Greer's for further evaluation; thus, we were off... The guys at Greer's were able to rule out the expensive fixes (much to my delight) and narrowed the problem down to 2 separate components, each dealing with the electrical system. We opted to go with the least expensive option first, they ordered the part, it showed up on time and had my car fixed in less than an hour. Best part: I HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AGAIN!!!!! And yes, that last statement is extremely important as I will be driving back to Austin Texas in the upcoming months in the evil heat. I am now able to ride in comfortable style :-) Best of all, total cost was $109.05 for both part and labor. Not bad considering past repair bills for the VW. Ouch. So thank you, Greer's Auto Service, for allowing more happy time with my car and for not taking all the money i had (which wasn't much, but happy to have some left over, hehe)! Other notes: the shop was clean, inviting, personnel were extremely helpful, answering all questions I had and even pointing out things on the engine to further demonstrate what they were talking about. As a female, and having dealt with many shops in the past, they treated me with the utmost respect and I would happily return, though hope to not need their services again...if you know what I mean. Driving from Indiana on our way to Florida for spring break, a series of dash lights and acceleration issues had us searching for a mechanic in a more urgent way. Not knowing the area, my quick search found Christian Brothers Automotive nearby and after reading their philosophy I knew this is where we were meant to go. Chris greeted us in as a walk in and served us every step of the way. Our vehicle DID NOT make it easy but Jacob, the technician, worked hard to find the root problem, yay for electrical issues. The communication between Miles and Chris to us along the way made us confident we were in good hands and we weren't going to go down the road hours or days and encounter the issue again, the type of service anyone hopes for when your family's safety is of utmost importance. We may have missed Florida for spring break but our family will have an experience and memories to talk about; when situations arise and we don't understand why, we can be assured God knows and puts us where we are meant to be for a reason and it was evident in how Christian Brothers Automotive of Bowling Green were the practical hand and feet of Jesus, in our frustrating situation.

They had to bring the vehicle from Somerset to Glasgow for us, saving us a 90+ mile drive. I waited until one year passed to post a review (11/2025). We just had the 15k service completed earlier this week. Services so far have been priced fair and all indications the job was done well. The speed at which the service is completed is great; very quick turn around. But the availability of scheduling short-notice is fantastic. A previous Nissan we owned and had serviced at another dealer (we live out of town from this dealership) was at least booked ten days out! I have been telling everyone how great Don Franklin is to work with. One of our sons bought a pre-owned Ram from here June of 2024, similar experience. Definitely five stars.

My daughter didn't internship at the BGPD and she said that they really like this place. So I called and they asked me if I wanted it fixed or if I wanted a brand new tire I told them probably a brand new tire. They quoted me a price for the tire and for the job and said it wouldn't be any more than that. We had the tow truck dropped my car off in the next day. I was able to pick it up surprise surprise they didn't have to get me a new tire after all they looked at it. It was fixable and I only spent I think about $56 there. No one tried to fleece me take advantage of me. They could a very easily made me pay for a brand new tire and hike. The price I wouldn't have known so I really trust this place and this is where I'll be taking my car from now on.
