This bldg is a B&B nightmare, with non-stop weekly and seasonal rentals by people who just don't give a sht about the neighborhood. Not to mention the grounds aren't maintained. The only bldg on S. Ocean that doesn't prune the palm trees that look like they're dying. Owner Jeff Greene should be embarrassed, cheap bastard. read more

Looking for an upscale laid-back community, this is the perfect one for you. Forget the hustle bustle of a college dorms and loud music. Everyone here is friendly and outgoing some are very athletic and always on the go. The maintenance staff is super friendly, available and helpful. It's a great place to live right across the street from the beach, and pets are welcome. read more

I rented an apt at 2560 s ocean under lease for nine months starting in July of 2018. I moved giving notice and left apt in perfect condition. I still have not received my security deposit after 4 months! I keep calling and emailing the office and they tell me it is "in the mail". They also said last month it was mailed to me. But I did not receive it so now they have to cancel and re issue a check. I have asked numerous times why the problem with returning $600? No answer. I suppose I have to go to small claims court to get back. No one from accounting gets back to me. The poor woman in the office at 2560 is just a middle man leasing agent. Pamela L. who wrote the last review is obviously someone who tends to be a complainer and she is certainly entitled to her opinion about living at 2560 but I have mine, and here it is below. I have lived at 2560 South Ocean almost 2 years now (including that difficult time when the management was changing a lot and yes, the hallways really were ugly/smelly). The building has had further renovations since then (including a nice upgrade of carpeting and paint in the hallways) and is quite lovely and with gorgeous views from most every apartment. The people who live there are... yes, pet lovers (wonderful that it's one of a few buildings on the island that allows pets!!), and really in general it is a polite, friendly, and un-snobby yet classy group of residents (the rents are too expensive to attract derelicts and transients). Everywhere you go, people say hello, open doors, and the management is friendly and accessible. I have never once felt in danger, or privacy compromised, etc. I totally disagree with the last reviewers "weirdos" statement. After having lived in many places, I can truly say these residents are hardly "weirdos" and just a bunch of typically working, busy, upscale people. The building, last I signed my lease, does not allow renters to engage in cigarette smoking, however because the building is a mix of owners and renters, the owners ARE allowed to smoke, and this creates a bit of a situation. The apartments all have big glass doors and large balconies and so there is enough breeze for a patient non-smoker to be able to deal with this and still enjoy living there. I'm thrilled that they have that policy, as the building is mostly renters and it cuts down on a lot of stink. The amenities of the building are really nice, with private beach access just a minute's walk away and a pool that is always clean. The gym is not perfectly equipped - but just outside your door are beautiful road paths and beach for biking/walking. The glass balconies are rare on this part of the island and really enhance the view and experience of living here. The maintenance guys are very nice and do their jobs well. The rent-to-value ratio is good here. The apartments are spacious and finished out nicely, in keeping with the amount of rent charged. I really can't say enough nice things about my experience of living there, the beautiful location. I do not want to leave as there seem to be no other rental buildings on this island that I think can compare to this (and especially about the pet policy). read more

Do not believe the description of this condo for your vacation. Feces in the pool, uncomfortable accommodations. Beach furniture scarce, umbrellas not operable and torn. Left after a long week leaving 3 weeks left of our vacation unused. read more

The air conditioning duct in my studio apt is filthy and the floor is filthy. The air in the apartment is untenable. Should you move into 2560 South Ocean Blvd. ask for the AC ducts to be cleaned professionally BEFORE you move in. THEN ASK FOR YOUR FLOORS TO BE CLEANED. The unit's old cheap white refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher and microwave are now sooty black and there's soot on the ceiling and on my artwork and everywhere. THE WASHER DRYERS on my floor ARE FILTHY...THESE DRYER DUCTS HAVEN'T BEEN CLEANED since 1970, so when you wash and dry your clothes, they have everyone's hair and lint on your clothes. The pool is filled with Iguana poop. Don't swim in the pool. The pool area has been renovated but the Iguanas are still using the pool to bathe and poop in. There's no fitness center with any fitness equipment that works. The parking lot is filled with potholes and there's no lighting so falling on the cracks of the parking lot while walking about is a reality. No security lights are installed either so walking about after dark isn't safe. There's never a rep in the office...even pre Covid, rarely was there any live person on the property. The hallway carpet on my floor is always dirty too. The apt steps, from the ground floor - 7th floor are all grimy and not freshly painted. There's a buzzing noice all day and night that's annoying also. If you appreciate grime in the steps area, a yucky fitness room without fitness equipment, and the absentee slum rental landlord property management the 2560 Ocean Blvd. slum apartment life is what you'll pay for. read more

"Christina A" was told multiple times that pool use is restricted to building residents, especially now due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She used the f-word to the first resident who told her this and ignored two other residents who asked her to leave before the police we called. She is rude and disgusting and has committed acts of harassment and placed all residents at serious health risk. She does not reside here and should be banned from the building. We have her name and license plate number and will call the police if we see her again. Condo board has been great on this! Thank you! read more

We love living here. The waterfront views and the community can't be beat. The proximity to our own quiet private beach is amazing. I carry my coffee over to watch the sunrise and love starting my day at the surf's edge. The building has been undergoing a lot of first class upgrades and it looks great. Easy access to all the world class dining and shopping on the island. We can't believe we get to live where everyone would love to vacation. Life is good here. read more
