TWO CASES: FIRST CASE: I had my birthday party here and while the decoration was good, the service was terrible. The bartenders were so rude to my husband, myself and our guests. No smiles, nothing. When my husband asked for a coke to mix his drink, the male bartender rudely denied the service, before slamming the soda on the table like it was an inconvenience. How can we have an OPEN bar and get an attitude when we ask for soda. We decided to let it go and escalate it to the owner, I believe her name is Rasheeda. SECOND CASE: I was looking for a venue for my baby shower and I noticed that they were having a flash sale: $500 for 6 hour rental. I figured that it was a good deal and since we wanted something small and fit our budget. I booked and paid the deposit online on Sept 6th because the date we wanted was available. Before booking, I called Rasheeda on September 2nd to let her know that her website is not letting me book the 6 hour time slot we wanted. She said I should pick the closest time and she will note it. So I thought I was good! NOPE. Rasheeda texted me a few weeks later that the calendar on their website was broken that we would have to pick another date. We had people coming from out of town as well so we had to change the date on the invites. I figured technology can be faulty sometimes, so I picked another date. This should have been the sign for me to just take my services elsewhere. Almost a month later, I texted her to confirm the 6 hour time slot for her to gaslight me to think I was going crazy! She said that the sale ended in August and I can only have my event for 4 hours. The deposit receipt clearly stated the payment was for the flash sale for the west Allis location. I also sent her a screenshot of the payment confirmation and a screenshot of the flyer I took prior to booking. I also sent a screenshot of my call log showing that I spoke to her on Sept 2nd confirming that I will get the 6 hour time slot. After going back and forth (with her gaslighting and giving me the biggest attitude), she finally admitted that even though the flash sale ended in August, THEY STILL HAD THE FLASH SALE FYLER AND LINK ON THEIR WEBSITE IN SEPTEMBER. She then told me that "even though I was able to access the link and book via their website, it was not currently active". Make it make sense. She never communicated any of this to me when we had that phone conversation on Sept 2nd. She then proceeded to "act nice" by saying she will give me the two hours for free but for a different time slot (another gaslight) which I could not agree to as we've made too many changes regarding this event due to their miscommunication and poor system. She eventually acted like she was doing me a favor and decided to just cancel my booking after stressing my out! Now I have to find a different venue and change the invites AGAIN! I want to emphasize that it was not even about the money, because like I said earlier I've had my birthday here where my husband and I paid for the birthday package and also for open bar. I referred one of my friends after my birthday, and she had her son's birthday. It was more about the morality of it all. I've never encountered service providers like this lady and her staff. I am telling you that the stress is not even worth it. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!
