There's a beautiful Zen garden common area located right outside where small bites and cocktails are served. We had a lovely experience chilling there before heading out for a boat ride on Lake Geneva. The only reason I did not give this property 5s is because from the walk to the hotel from the nearby train station we traveled via some seedy streets. We have found an alternate path for our return to the train station, so my advice is be alert and careful.

I went for a long walk around the lake at night and in the morning it was a quick walk to coffee if you want to get out of the hotel/ Really nothing to complain about as far as the hotel itself. Chocolate in the room upon arrival. Decent bed. Most importantly, air conditioning that worked on a very hot summer day. I would stay the Ritz Carlton I walked by nearby next time but it was okay enough. They weren't super nice at check in when I told them that no, I was paying for the room and it should have been in my name. Pretty sure he rolled his eyes at me, even if not intentional. They also could not give change at the desk for USD/CHF, which is pretty standard at hotels in Europe. Aside from that and being less than impressed with how small the room was, even for EU, it was good enough but not anymore than 3 stars for me.

The reception staff ( one female and two male) were barely able to communicate in English and were totally unhelpful. The man was especially snarky and his instructions were totally unclear. They gave me some nonsense instructions about using the lift but came to find out that the instructions "press button P"are not present in the lifts from level -3 and all other buttons take one to a level completely separate from the hotel lobby. They made no effort to personally accompany me or otherwise help. The parking is not free. I chose to leave without bothering to see the rooms as my first experience was unacceptable. I would never go back there. Don't waste your money! I hope that the reception staff on the day in question ( May 4 2025 at about 21:00) are fired. That's what you get when you hire dumb idiots

One of the standout features was the public transportation--everything is incredibly well organized. The train station was easy to locate right from the airport, and getting on board was simple. Going through passport control was quick, modern, and completely touchless, making the entire experience feel seamless and efficient. Yelp Review 2026 #62:…read more My flight home from Geneva was a pleasant experience. Priority boarding, more baggage allowance (which came in handy since I was coming home with a luggage full of Swiss chocolates for myself and some for friends), priority security check, lounge access, priority boarding, welcome drinks, 3-course gourmet meal, unlimited snacks and drinks, lie-flat seat with a massager, pillow, mattress, blanket, Acqua di Parma amenity kit, dedicated flight attendant, 2 lavatories for business class passengers only. Food: I liked the garlic bread, and the tuna appetizer. I selected the beef cheek as my entree prior to my flight but I didn't like it as much as I had anticipated. The cake for dessert wasn't great so, I couldn't finish it - it was that, cheese or fruit. I should have gotten fruit instead. Snacks and beverage including alcohol was unlimited. I got an Aperol Spritz because it was available even though I don't like it. Service: Outstanding. I felt taken care of for the 8+ hour flight. I got my peppermint tea (which settles my stomach) without any fuss from the flight attendant. I'm not a high-maintenance flyer and I don't need a lot. Just my peppermint tea and I'm happy. Comfort: I'm fine with lie-flat seats but my seat also had a massager. Of course, I used it multiple times during the flight. They provided a fluffy pillow, a mattress and a thick blanket. I switched to the red Air Canada socks which is part of the amenity kit as soon as I got situated. I had lots of storage space. Electronics charging. The lavatory is on the small side just like economy lavatory. But the toiletries are better. Entertainment: I watched a bunch of movies recently released that I didn't get to see in theaters, and a docuseries about my favorite futbol team. I listened to some music.

Walk a long line to get your passport stamped and be asked the questions as you walk through customs and into Switzerland, only to walk more to the baggage claim to where you stand a good while to greet your luggage many minutes after your plane has landed and you stress as you think the same thing I always think about, did my luggage actually make it on the plane? Then you breathe a sigh of relief as you walk again to the train station which is a solid walk from the baggage claim as you then take a train into town, or in my case, a train to Lausanne, and then walk again to the train and maybe have to stand on the train because you waited until the ultimate last minute to buy a ticket. At which point you almost wish you had someplace to sit down. Not the best way to greet people into a gorgeous country, but at least things do improve from there (and believe me, they do).
