3.5 Stars I have…read moreused Swiss air over the years and it is hard to rate them as I think they have gone in and out of Bankruptcy several times. Last time was fine. Sure it aint Qatar or Etihad Airlines but it was fine. Last time was okay with typical Swiss warmth and generosity ( I kid as they have none) But the planes are clean and on time. Food is fine. Def a better experience in business if you can afford it.

Be prepared to walk, walk, and walk some more…read more Walk off the plane. Walk more to passport control. Walk a long line to get your passport stamped and be asked the questions as you walk through customs and into Switzerland, only to walk more to the baggage claim to where you stand a good while to greet your luggage many minutes after your plane has landed and you stress as you think the same thing I always think about, did my luggage actually make it on the plane? Then you breathe a sigh of relief as you walk again to the train station which is a solid walk from the baggage claim as you then take a train into town, or in my case, a train to Lausanne, and then walk again to the train and maybe have to stand on the train because you waited until the ultimate last minute to buy a ticket. At which point you almost wish you had someplace to sit down. Not the best way to greet people into a gorgeous country, but at least things do improve from there (and believe me, they do).

Leave your dignity at home and elbow your way to the front! Every time I fly easyJet I say to myself "never again, it's not worth it!!" But I always know deep down that I'll be back, you just can't beat the prices. Also keep in mind, easyJet only allows one piece of carry-on luggage. Not one luggage and one laptop bag/purse, but ONE item.

There is a free shuttle that runs every 20 mins from the hotel to the airport so no need to pay for a cab. The hotel is trendy and newly designed. There is a foosball table in the lounge area, and lots of seating. The room itself was clean and comfortable. It did get quite warm around 3am, and the thermostat was not adjusting, so a window was opened to help the temperature. One downfall was that the food on the bar menu was not good. And when I pay 15 chf for a flat bread, I would like it to look less pitiful! But really, it's a airport hotel. Clean and convenient, but needing a menu improvement.

The lobby is fairly roomy and if you want to isolate yourself and work, you can do so quite easily. Not cheap, but what is in Switzerland?
