I contacted Casey's about bailing a friend out of jail. I spoke with John. I was given an amount…read morewhich was higher than I had been quoted by another bondsman the evening before. I stated that we had been quoted a lower price and that we would probably go with that company. The money is not mine so was looking for the best possible price. The other company was not answering as it was still early in the day. I spoke with the person who the money belongs to and he said it was fine to spend the $50 extra so called Caseys back. The response I got was that he doesn't need my services and he's taking the rest of the day off. Rude, but ok. Whatever. Managed to get in touch with the other bondsman and now suddenly what they want for bail has changed and they are insisting on having collateral suddenly for a 2500 bail and will ONLY ACCEPT a 2014 or newer car. Not property, not a house. Not an RV or a boat or anything else. Now my friend is stuck in jail and since I don't know anyone with a 2014 or newer car (restored classics that are taken to shows or trucks in the specified year range but not specifically a car) and can't find another bail company in the area since 1 company goes by 5 names so they are about it other than Casey's or one that have a 300 min plus a 100 travel fee Not cool and not at all fair for the inmate who has the right to bail out but can't afford the full 2500
