This inspection was very detailed and thorough. Thomas arrived on-time, was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and just a great guy to talk to. You decide--I don't write a ton of reviews so when I do it's usually a really bad experience or an exceptionally great one. Fortunately, this is one of the latter. I met Tom Recke around 2007 when we were both members of a Professional Realtors Association. Over the years I have crossed paths with MANY home inspectors as a mold inspector and remediation contractor. Out of all of them, I hired Tom to inspect our son and daughter-in-laws first home. He is simply the best there is. I have encountered Tom on several inspections we were both at for our respective professions and he is thorough, extremely knowledgable, and the consummate professional. I've never spoken to a Realtor who knew Tom that had anything but the highest regard for him, most of them would never use anyone else. My only regret related to Tom is after many years here in Colorado he moved to Tennessee. Tennessee, you win. Give him a call for the best home inspection you will ever receive. read more

My inspections take a bit longer, but I feel the quality and level of attention to detail are worth a bit more time. In the hectic world of real estate, time is money. My goal at 3 Arrows Property Inspection is to save you both! My objective as an inspector is to have you walk away from the inspection knowing the strong and weak points of the property, being aware of exactly what it is that you are about to buy with no last-minute surprises. I use state-of-the-art equipment including moisture meters, infrared cameras, temperature sensors, and gas detectors. The report I will provide you with, which again, is delivered on-site, contains detailed photographs of problems, covers nearly 1,700 items, and gives you the knowledge that you need to make a fully informed decision.

Veteran-owned business! After 9 years of service between the US Navy (submarine service) and the US Army (infantry with a combat tour in Iraq in 2004), I started my inspection business. Since then, I have earned the trust of buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals throughout Middle Tennessee and have grown into one of the most respected inspection companies offering professional home inspections, EIFS inspections, hard coat stucco inspections, commercial building inspections, thermal imaging, radon testing, mold testing, environmental reports, and water quality testing.

I love working with first-time home buyers! I feel blessed to be included in their home-buying process and I don't take this responsibility lightly. The ability to connect with people is a huge asset in this profession and I take pride in my knack for treating each client as if they were my only client. I have seen inspectors show up wearing jeans, smoking a cigarette, and actually using profanity in front of their clients - this isn't the way I choose to run my business. How I operate my home inspection business is crucial to my family and the people who continue to refer me. I am licensed in the state of Tennessee, a certified member of ASHI, InterNACHI, EDI (the Exterior Design Institute which trains EIFS and stucco inspectors) and have my bachelor's degree.

Thomas is extremely detail oriented. If you are looking for an inspector that will check everything, report everything, takes pictures of everything. Then be more than happy to show, tell, explain, and answer questions then he is a great choice.
