Don't use this company. They are a terrible blind company. My sales lady was Linda Strauss. She doesn't listen talks fast brings out stuff you don't want. In order to get more money she pulled a fast one on us and put in an expensive fabric blind we didn't want in our son's room. We had just moved into our home and several people were here asking us questions with the move etc. When the blinds came damaged however they tried to pull a fast one on us installed them I started looking at installed blinds discovered the damage nicks and scratches all over blinds. I called next day and complained. Oh they said they would write up a work order and we only paid1/2 of the bill. Which I was fine with then. . We would pay balance at the time of repairs. Well no repairs and they took the remaining balance out of our account without a email or a phone call. So no we have no repaired blinds and nothing to hold them responsible. Consultant took a 50% deposit but now doesn't return my calls since their installer who came to measure, the next day, confirmed he cannot install what the consultant advised and ordered. The company number given is disconnected and the business card number has no reply. Get a copy of the order, contract and number to contact and try it out before ordering! The worst is now after I cancelled the order the same day, since installer cannot install it, they not only still haven't refunded/reversed the card charged but also now I saw an additional $2500 charge?!?! Then I got a text message from the representative saying she needs to reschedule because she is losing air in her tire. I said I would reschedule but didn't want that representative. They scheduled another appointment and we waited, no show. I called and they said that the representative had a clear schedule and should be there. They asked me to wait another hour. I did and no show! I then cancelled. first time ever I'm writing a review. I tried to order blinds for 3 day blinds and was denied. They will not sell you blinds unless you get a consultation........ also they have to instalol them. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. I'm not rebuilding an engine here. It's a couple of screws and maybe an anchor or 2. I feel duped and I wish I could rate it a zero. i had shutters installed during the summer and they mismeasured. I had to chase them down to get the shutters reordered and have my credit card company threaten to reverse my transaction. They claimed they had reordered the shutters and they would be in before Thanksgiving. I have contacted they a couple of times, but complete silence. I'm calling my credit card company today and I'll hire someone else to replace the shutters that do not fit properly. This could have be solved by a good customer service department who stayed in touch with the customer--now it's been a ton of work and worry on my end. The company asked me to direct message, which I cannot figure out how to do--I guess answering my emails and phone calls was too much work. I read through other reviews and read that someone else had the same woman sell the blinds and experience the exact same problem. Meeting with the salesperson went well. She helped us choose the blinds and took detailed measurements of the windows. Pricing came up much higher than expected, after a few back and forth we settled on the order. There was no hurry, but when it came time to schedule installation, I kept missing their calls, and when calling back the mailbox was either full or no one would actually respond to my voicemails proposing a timeline 3+ weeks in advance. Weeks went by, almost 10 call backs in total... I expressed my frustration with the salesperson via voice mail and text... she never replied. I have a feeling that once you sign the contract, the sales team is done with you. After that I called the 1800 number and spoke with a kind and understating representative who promised to reach out to the installer. Installation was not to my standard, with roller cornice extending almost 3" beyond the end of the rollers. I suggested to the installer to trim it down to avoid the dead space, but he said he would need a table saw... I have one, I replied. But then I decided not to add hours to his day and to take my time and do it right later with help from my neighbor. When it came time to take down the already installed cornice for trimming, I noticed the poor way it was installed. Wall mounts were not evenly spaced AND wobbly, and top of the cornice had sharp screws sticking out about 1" high where wing nuts were supposed to be used. I texted the installer requesting more wing nuts, which he promised to deliver next time his is in the area. Weeks went by, two more reminders, two more promises from the installer... nothing. I bought the needed wingnuts from my local hardware store. In summery I do not recommend this company. I paid a lot for the blinds and expected high quality product with great installation. I was very disappointed. Rollers work but make a terrible sound and jam when overextended. (it takes a few dozen tries to get the roll-up motion just right). The mechanism is made of hard plastic, which I don't like. I try to be gentle with them so that nothing breaks. The material blind are made of is of good quality. One last thing I want to add, I expressed these concerns in a 3-Day Blinds email survey. I received no reply and can't find my response on their website either... read more

Please go to Home Depot or Lowes. Anywhere but here. Lori St. Clair was my rep for 3 Day Blinds. She showed up on time. Her job was to sell and measure. She didn't get on a ladder and even had my boyfriend hold the measuring tape for her. He's nice and helped, but the ask was inappropriate. 1 month later, the shades came. Surprise, surprise! Measurements were wrong. Shades did not fit. 1 was completely missing. I made MANY calls and nothing was done. I called my credit card company to refute the charges and within 48 hours they called ME back! The contract you sign with them locks you in. You owe them money no matter what. If they screw up, they get to make it right. But it didn't say they had to do it in a timely manner. This is why they don't care. Yeah, I read the rules but didn't think shades would be such an ordeal. I stopped talking to them via phone because I wanted written documentation of their ineptitude. 30+ emails and 3 months later, I finally got what I ordered. If I didn't have all the emails, my credit card company wouldn't have taken the action they did. In one email, they promised to refund me $x for the hassel. Then on another email, they tried to decrease the refund. They are shady - pun intended! Lori St. Clair never responded. After they get their commission, they no longer care. Where do I start . We needed blinds for our new home in Elgin Illinois. We decided to give Three Day Blinds an order to provide blinds for our whole house. I have had these blinds installed in my home 10 months. Well first the motorized shade in front of my sliding door needed to be replaced. Then we go to the dining room motorized shade that needed to be replaced. Now we have the two shades in my husbands office that both of them needed to be replaced because they were starting to fray at the edges. They reordered them and sent us the wrong ones. They reordered them again and they only sent one. I called last week to find out when the last shade would be in and was told that they found the missing shade and would come and install it today. Now they just called to tell me that the one they found was the wrong on and are reordering it one more time. Really.... how can I give a good review. We had three day blinds come out to estimate a custom job (multiple shutters and some skylights). The woman who came out was great and very knowledgeable - excellent sales person. She sent us a quote - after seeing the other reviews here we decided to get a couple more. Both other quotes came in 40% cheaper (before any negotiation!). They also had said that our custom shutters were two months out - they quoted a company from China, Norman blinds - one of the other companies that quoted us the same brand and was honest told us they were 6 months out. Stay away at all costs - there are some good companies in that space and they are not it. read more

Do not use this overpriced company who does not value their customer. I bought $13,000 in blinds and they are as cheaply made as dollar store products. They over hang my actual windows and they refuse to acknowledge any of it. They kept my credit card on file and charged me without notification and final approval of my products. Stay away from 3Day Blinds!!!!. We spent $10,000 on blinds in December 2021. Immediately following the installation, we let them know that some blinds did not work. A couple were repaired but two still do not work and the installer said he would place the correction order, which he never did. 12+ months after, I am still begging them to come out and correct the problem. Every time I call, I speak with a different customer service agent who promises to help but I never hear from them. I am now being bounced around and being told by Madyson H. that I am not the only client they service. Wow!!!! I have had them out to fix things 4 times. the strings tangle on the backs of the blinds so that they cannot be lowered. there are no kids in my household-only 2 adults that raise them in the morning and lower in the evening. Not sure what causes this. On my larger blind a part needed to be replaced. When I raised the blind it would not stay up. I was told it reacts differently to different people. These are Roman Shades. I wasn't told that these are (probably) the bottom of the line shades at time of purchase. The sales person was all about selling and I wouldn't care if I ever saw her again. I will say that the people that come to my home for repairs are polite and on time. I'm getting g to know them well. Save yourself some aggravation and don't use 3 day blinds read more

I ordered my shades in August. They came to take measurements within a week and the installation happened a week later. The installation guy said that one of the motors was broken and to not touch that shade while they order a new part. That part took two weeks to arrive and when that installation person came, they said there was no problem with the existing motor, they just didn't know how to set the end point properly. Wonderful, spent several weeks with my main window shade down. Now, I've had various issues throughout the last few months. Customer service hours are tight and the agents are not always the most knowledge. The app has never properly worked and sometimes the remotes don't work either. These products are unreliable. Make sure to negotiate the price. I thought I was getting a good deal when I negotiated, but it was still double the price of competitors. Took my broken shade on Sept 24th. Returned without all parts and took back. It's now December 15th and I still don't have the shade back. No communication of status and no return callback when I call. Next step may be smalls claims court. After message sent and again contacting 3day blinds, they referred me back to their installation company PenRod Installations. My opinion is that I shouldn't have to chase down installers representing the company. Although 3 Day Blinds is not the original owner of purchase (Bankrupt Eddie Zs), the manufacturer has partnered with them to handle these issues. The one star is for my designer who was great - everything else after that initial meeting has been a disaster. I ordered my drapes from Smith and Noble which has now been taken over by 3 day blinds. You cannot currently book installations. You have to give the scheduler a few options that work for you, and then wait for the install department to confirm your choice. I have been waiting for 10 days for someone to confirm my appointment and despite numerous follow up calls, I have not made any progress. I was told during one of these calls that There are currently no installers that work the area to hang the blinds up. No-one is able to help, and management don't return calls. read more

Install was incorrect on 7/8/2023. I did not sign for install yet I was charged the balance for the blinds. Was promised remeasure and expedited remake. installer came and remeasured on 8/2. Talked with 2 case managers. Last one told me I would receive call back by Friday. Installer never turned in measurements. No call. I called this morning and was told he wasn't available. He should call me by tomorrow. When asked what can I do with 3 Day Blinds if he doesn't call tomorrow. I was told to call again and give them 48 hours to get back to me. This has been terrible. If you do business with 3 Day Blinds there is a high likelihood that you will have problems. This company plays good cop/bad cop with their 3 party subcontractor. They are a nightmare company to work with if you have issues that are their fault. They will promise you every thing, and once they have you under contract and billed, they will not honor anything they said they would. You can go with the good reviews if you wish, but I would look at the bad reviews. It's a solid yellow line with dozens of complaints They all ring true from my own experience with 3 Day Blinds. And don't believe the replies from "Customer Service T" that responds to all of the bad reviews. It's just damage control. Customer Service T asks you to get in contact but never gives a way to do that. Which would be right on brand with how this company operates. Save yourself the headache and money loss. They installed the vertical blinds they were great but the horizontal blinds were measured wrong with the valance and I've contacted them at least 4 times and they said that they would order a new one. Never did or heard from again but they were quick to take my money and the installer (Javier) said that the job was complete. read more

The blinds look ok, but are nothing special. They are not transparent about fees and 1/3 of the cost of our project was installation, boxing fees, admin fees? I feel taken advantage of. Your salesperson suggested the wrong blinds that would NEVER work for our window; your company measured wrong; and your installer didn't do a good job. Absolutely awful experience. Stay far away!!!!!! First, let's talk about the dishonest document they sent me with my purported signature on it. After I complained and said I wanted the product removed by email at 11:39 am - the same day the blinds were installed -- the salesperson sent me a document at 2:54 pm showing that I had accepted the product with my signature attached! Let that sink in. Before receiving the document, she assured me via email twice that she was passing my concern to customer care (quote: "I emailed customer care and reported your complaint. Someone from customer care will contact you directly.") I called customer care, told them my issue and said I wanted a refund, and then was disconnected. I couldn't get through the rest of the day. Today, the day after the blinds were installed, I finally got through and was told that no case had been opened and nothing had been reported. One item related to the blinds was a very cheap white plastic pull on a white string covered with cheap plastic beads. I was not shown any of this before I purchased the blinds. The top of the installation is haphazard and doesn't meet the wall; the blind material in the top casing cuts off before the end. Customer care said I signed a contract and they would not remove the product or give me a refund. I asked them what recourse a customer had if they had sold a shoddy product or did a poor installation, and they kept repeating I could have canceled the contract three days after I signed it. I repeat: There is zero recourse for bad work. The biggest source of outrage, on top of the crappy product, the lack of recourse, the failure to timely register my complaint, the disconnection of my call -- all bad, but the biggest source was sending me a document with my signature on it indicating my acceptance after I complained and asked 3 day blinds to remove their product. They falsified a document! Oh -- they quoted me $3,500. I came back and said I was ready to go and they told me the price was now $4,700. When I said I couldn't do that, magically they dropped the price back to the original in 15 minutes. The is only the second review I have ever written. The first one was glowing. STAY AWAY. Literally one of the worst experiences I've had, bought new blinds and went with this company because they spoke to their high quality product and care and I couldn't be more disappointed. I had a specific associate from their company come out and measure and 2 of the blinds I ordered were completely wrong and couldn't be used, I was also missing outdoor mounting brackets. They've not issued a refund yet for their mistakes and it's taking forever to get the issue resolved, I should be able to get blinds up and completed in less then a month but not with this company. Every time you call them you can a different service agent who gives you a different answer to your question, could not recommend them less! I like the blinds I ordered. the install was good although all three blinds did not operate in sync. The problem is with their customer service. I am in need of a repair. my initial call to the service company was made 3 days ago and to date I have had no response. In speaking with the customer service dept at Three Day Blinds I was told they would call me in five days to schedule an appointment. So it will have taken 8 days just to SCHEDULE an appointment.
