If you are looking for the absolute best experience in elevating your home by adding window…read morefixtures, I 100% recommend Scott and Window Magic. Scott is simply the best, the level of service he provides is unmatched. From start to finish Scott was incredibly kind, professional and took the time to help me pick out the correct shutters. One out of many instances that come to mind is when deciding on the color of the shutters, he went above and beyond to take numerous samples, walked around my kitchen comparing the different shades to my walls and kitchen cabinets. I received two other quotes from competing companies and they simply did not hold a candle to Scott. With the other two I felt like just another customer/dime, with Scott I felt like a close friend and felt confident that if something should malfunction that I can call him and he would immediately come out to rectify the issue. Scott installed shutters on all 19 windows and one sliding glass door in our home. It took us a few years to have the opportunity to make this purchase and it has paid off. My husband and I could not be happier. The shutters are absolutely beautiful and add the perfect finishing touch to our home. We have even joked that our home looks like a model home now. Not only do they look fabulous, they also provide complete privacy and darkness. Thank you Scott, you are the best, we appreciate your service and all the hard work that you have done to elevate our home to the level that my husband and I have worked so long to achieve.

David painted 3 homes for me about 6 years ago. It was expensive. I'm sorry to say his spray…read moretechnique does not stand the test of time. He was always in a hurry to get to the next job. Everything is peeling and looks like it was painted 20 years ago. I'm comparing to my other homes painted about 13 years ago by a different contractor. These older paint jobs are to this day in much better condition with minimal peeling and weathering...they were not! Painted by Genesis.

I would love to give David more than two stars given the hard work put forth, however, am unable to…read moredo so, as our job was left uncompleted. During our consult we discussed, in detail, the importance of no overspray, removal of shutters, and patching of stucco (ie: covering all turf in the back, as well as furniture and stamped concrete). We were ensured over and over this would take place. However, it did not and we are now left with overspray on our furniture covers, turf, and concrete. Only two faux shutters were removed prior to painting and the patching of said areas required an actual stucco person, as the attempted patching did not match. The other two shutters were removed after the paint was completed, leaving debris (that is still there) on the newly powerwashed roof. After fully painting the home David sent a gentleman to patch the stucco on the lower shutters after they attempted twice. 48 hours later, the new stucco was painted, at which time my husband paid the remaining $3000 owed. Several hours later, David was contacted, as the 'repaired' stucco and paint had even more of a disparity. This is when we began feeling as though we were getting the run around, as we have followed up almost daily to no avail for 15 days. My recommendation is to ensure that things are done to your specs prior to paying in full. Instead of taking responsibility for this necessary repair and doing what is right as a business owner, we as the customer are now left to figure it out on our own. UPDATE BASED ON BELOW RESPONSE: Hi David, I appreciate you getting back to me, however, was hopeful this would prompt a phone call or text from you. I have included photos of the overspray and am happy to provide these via text as well. As you know, we were not and are not happy with the stucco. On May 1st we were informed your stucco guy would be contacted or contact us to rectify the work and as of today, May 15th, neither you, nor Jose have contacted us to fix anything. This lack of correspondence is what prompted this review in the first place. Should you wish to take this conversation offline, you know how to reach both Scott and I directly.
