PART 2: (Owner of Gretchen the Saint Bernard, if you're reading this: yes, she also yells at and punishes your sweet OLD dog for barking. Gretchen only barked because Gina was around and she didn't like her.) Also, they'll throw the dogs GETTING humped out of group instead of removing the humper. A number of times I had hyper dogs in group -- shepherds and huskies like Sierra (if Sierra's owner sees this, yes, she's also a hump victim they won't protect) -- that just wanted to zoom around and play. But because they don't know shit about dogs, they get mad at the DOG and remove it from group, sometimes trapping it inside in a crate during yard time. Multiple times they came to take dogs from my group and I told them I already had them under control, they were literally just speeding around and playing. But Gina gets mad when dogs bark and excite other dogs, so inside crate time it is. Also, just for the record, most of the good dog pictures on their site/social media were taken by me. Again, unprofessional as hell because she makes staff use their personal phones to take pictures for the business. Not all the dogs get their walks every day because there simply are not enough staff for that to even be possible. If your dog barks, best believe Gina is punishing them for it when she's there. They also give dogs weed/CBD drops without consulting owners because they want them quieter. The regular hourly staff are mostly good with dogs, but they all get fired arbitrarily -- or not even officially fired. They just get removed from the schedule out of nowhere and ghosted. Happened to at least four staff members while I was there. And the ones who didn't get ghost fired? Gina screamed and cussed them out until they quit. At LEAST two employees. The dogs love the regular come-and-go staff because most of them actually care about the dogs and are good with them. But I would NEVER trust my dogs left in the care of Connor or Gina. NEVER NEVER NEVER. And the rest of the staff could be fired literally any second for nothing. The owner is basically a spoiled rich little girl who used rich little girl money to open a kennel but has absolutely no idea how to run a business or properly care for dogs. She likes dogs because they're probably the only creatures capable of caring about her and because she can control them through abuse or paid trainers. But she hates dogs that don't like her. And all this is relatively recent. I wasn't even there THAT long and I still saw all of this. One more thing. Theyre not very careful about making sure the food and water bowls are all dry and clean of the bleach theyre washed in before feeding and watering dogs out of them. And when i was there and careful about they stopped me cause "it was wasting time and we dont have enough dishes to wait for those to be dry of bleach water." read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. My vet actually suggested 3DF for my overly hyper lab/hound mix. He's a 90lb puppy and needs to get the wiggles out. He's just alot. Most home daycare places don't want to take this guy. Other indoor warehouse daycare facilities not only allow your pet to relieve themselves indoors, they don't want to have anything to do with interacting with your pet. 3DF is not like ANY of these places! They have a man made pond, huge farm area where dogs are separated based on socialization, personality, age etc., kennels with heated floors that are so clean you don't even realize dogs sleep there. They even give your dogs a bath before you pick them up. Besides all that, these are the nicest people in earth... and they love dogs. They're dog people (trainers) and knowledgeable about all canines. And they're especially awesome for our large dog community. I drive 1 1/2-2 hrs one way, once a month to drop my guys off and it is totally worth it. They come back so tired, they're comatose for the next 4 days. That's with a one night stay. Do yourself and your dog a favor. Spoil them and send them here. It's dog heaven! read more

3 Dog Farm continues to be a lifesaver for us. We have 4 dogs and they frequent their boarding facilities. We live in a farm and were worried about them having a different experience. When we found 3 Dog Farm, it was a perfect fit. The staff is always so loving and professional with them as well as extremely accommodating. I did my research and asked questions because it's so overwhelming and I know there's a budget I must stick to. After I drove an hour there I asked myself if I have made the right choice for my puppy training school. Oh well I would only loose a day of my life right? Love to give a below zero rating. Upon pick up my dog cried until we had fully left the premises. Traumatized. We never hard sounds like that before. I think that says it all. Our first and last trip to 3 Dog Farm. We brought our dog there for an overnight trip thinking that she would enjoy her stay there as there would be plenty of other dogs to play with. We were wrong. I informed the employee(she may have been the owner) at drop off that our dog has visited dog parks hundreds of times and never had any issues with other dogs. She then took her to a separate pen. A few hours later when they posted pictures from the day, my wife and I realized that the only pictures of our dog were of her yelping at the gate of a fence with all the other dogs on the other side. We called them immediately and asked why she wasn't in the the other dogs. They said she was "anxious" and that they were not going to let her in with the other dogs. Of course she "anxious"! she wants to play with the other dogs! Keeping her separated from the other dogs is almost torturous to her. We sent her to this farm just so she could play with the other dogs! We had other free options but she would have been cooped up in an apartment so we opted for this. When we picked her up, she whimpered the whole way home, and had an unexplained limp for about 3 days after. We reached out to them about how upset we were with her stay and they didn't even offer us a discount. read more

This place is incredible and by far the best boarding place around! We have a rescue pup who has a lot of anxiety and does not do well in a "traditional" boarding environment. We are so glad that our trainer recommended 3 Dog Farm to us. The care providers are loving, compassionate, patient, and quite simply, they "get" dogs. Manny had an amazing time running around and exploring the farm. We picked him up yesterday and you could tell he was at ease and happy. He got lots of exercise and snuggles. You get daily reports and photos (and sometimes videos)! Love this place and can't wait for our pup to go back!! read more

3 Dog Farm is absolutely wonderful!! It has beautiful grass pastures and nice clean sleeping areas. Rocky and Katie had a great time over the holidays at the farm and we were so grateful that both dogs were being well cared for and having fun!!! Brought my two, extra hairy kids, to 3 Dog Farm last week, for 5 days. I really can't say enough about this place! It truly is like bringing your dogs to a farm, for a vacation! They sleep in the finished, air conditioned basement of a home. They are let out into huge, grass fields. They can run to their heart's content! It's a small kennel; not at all like the usual boarding mills. Mary was truly excited to meet my boys and I have no doubt that she took better care than I do! It is a bit pricey, but they don't charge for every little walk either! They also gave them each a bath and a "goodie bag" before being picked up! Such a sweet gesture! I checked out another kennel and was so disappointed in the HUGE facility and lack of one on one time and exercise, for the dogs there. 3 Dog Farm is, hands down, the best place to bring your dogs! read more

I absolutely love 3 Dog Farm. They have been taking care of my pup bailey for 3 years now. The entire staff is wonderful and friendly. I love that they send me pictures from baileys day and send her home with a 'report card' everyday! Bailey is always tuckered our when I get her home and she sleeps the night away. i took my Loki to 3dog farm today for some good time puppy playtime. when i picked him up, he had had a bath and looked so happy. i was told he and a dog named Sam bonded immediately and they hung together all day. i was so happy to hear that. this was his first visit and it wont be the last. i am so happy with the staff and the facility is wonderful. read more

If you are looking for your dog to be in a wire kennel and let out occasionally by lackluster staff into a gravel yard, 3 Dog Farm is NOT the place for you. But if you're interested in an environment for your dog that is physically, mentally and emotionally healthy, read on. This is not your average boarding facility! The dogs are given safe space to run and play to their hearts' content. The grassy play areas have toys and trees and shades so everyone has lots of places to flop down when they need a little break. Temperament testing assures that dogs are placed with other dogs who they can play with at their own levels, no free-for-all here. Bad weather? No problem, there's also a huge covered area for the dogs to play. For sleeping, each dog has their own inside kennel so they can rest easy. They're also fed on their own, so there's no food anxiety either. The staff is what pushes this to a five star review. Each dog is taken out for walks along the river, played with in the yards, and given a bath before pickup. While on vacation, I got pictures of my dog enjoying HIS vacation! The dogs at 3 Dog Farm are loved and cared for like they are family. The staff are obviously emotionally invested in the happiness of your dog. I toured six different facilities before deciding to board my dog here. It was 100% the best decision for the happiness of my dog and for my peace of mind. A different boarding facility in the Martinsburg area "forgot" to walk my dog the first time I boarded him. I gave them another chance but I came back to find that my 125 pound dog had spent 7 straight days in a 6 x 12 foot kennel because they were understaffed and didn't have time to walk him. He smelled nasty and was an emotional wreck. When I board my dog at 3 Dog Farm, I can enjoy my vacation knowing that he's having a great time. When I pull into the road the farm is on, my dog gets super excited and as soon as I open the car door he hops out tail wagging and never looks back. The combination of the facilities and staff make this the Ritz Carlton of dog boarding and I recommend it wholeheartedly. My dog said "woof" which translates to "You got that right!" read more

We LOVE 3 Dog Farm!!! This is seriously a GEM of a place! Mary, Gina and the Gang are the best!!! My Dog goes to the farm 2-3 days a week and gets spoiled... Not only does he get to play most of the day outside (weather permitting) he gets two walks, naptime and tons of playtime with the 3 Dog humans and the "playmates" at the farm! During inclement weather, he gets time to play in their indoor play area! Plus, he gets a bath before coming home and they send me an update when he is there for the night and pictures!! They literally take care of the dogs there, like their own! You become family instantly!! My dog loves going there, he doesn't even look back when they take his leash in their hands! I could never say enough about Mary, Gina and the gang, they are truly the absolute best!! read more

"The place you would imagine for your dog has resulted in Three Dog Farm. They are loved, exercised, protected, stimulated, socialized, massaged, taken on nature walks and into creeks, all while being fed the best and most healthy treats. They are frequently watered and fed to whatever your requirements request. And the staff....what can I say....I trust them, they care so much about animals, they spend inordinate amounts of time interacting with the dogs, individually and in groups for games, they are involved in rescue, they offer daycare and overnite accommodations, and they are very aware and responsible when it comes to the health of their guests. They send you daily photos and updates so you are assured of their safety and comfort. They bathe your dog(s) after overnite stays, will groom them if requested, and will pickup/drop off from/at your home. What more I could ask, I just don't know. I cannot imagine a place that could top Three Dog Farm. I rest easy and assured when my dogs spend time with them. That's worth so much to me.
