I give them four stars only because the expense of yearly vaccines and such is outrageous. I grew up around a lot of animals and understand that some folks are fanatical about their pets. Meaning it's not unheard of to take your horse to a spa and spend $1000 in an afternoon, so it can get a massage, hydrotherapy and a pedicure. I am no such animal lover. I have three dogs which I take very good care of. I provide a wilderness oasis of 287 acres to run in a river to swim in and yearly vaccines and a bath when they start to smell. I don't take my dogs to the groomers (I understand that some breed require that) and clip their nails myself. I don't dress my dog up on Halloween and include them in family photos. It been my experience that those that do also have an unrealistic and in some cases mental issue associated with their dogs and cats and as such carry about themselves and air of superiority. I don't know everyone's personal experience at this business but my experience differs very much. I give respect and I get respect. I am courteous and accommodating and I have received the same in return. I don't push, and I don't have dogs that have every medical issue under the sun. I get in and get out and try to do it the cheapest possible. I try to take reviews with a grain of salt understanding that there are a lot of factors that go into any ones individual experience. Overall I enjoy my visits to the vet and will continue using this vet for my three dogs, Bosly, Elvis and Otis.

I've never had that happen with any of his previous groomers. He's a very woolly husky and sometimes his coat can get impacted (especially in the summer!) because he runs away from the brush, but when he comes home from Em's it's like a full reset. They said arrive by 9:30 and they can still do the grooming. Raced said dog there, ran into the building (rolling my ankle on the way IYKYK), and got to the desk at 9:30 on the dot (honestly might have been 9:29 when I walked in the door). Was told sorry the groomer said she can't take her it's 9:30. I said "you told my friend be here by 9:30 so what's the issue?" The front counter person said "It's 9:30 so the groomer can't she's very busy today." I said "well what if it was 9:29 and 59 seconds?" Counter person said "well we aren't an actually keeping a timer?" Yet that's exactly what they were doing. SHAME on this local neighborhood business for treating anyone this way. We personally left Green K9 back when Marni sold it because it's been totally downhill since and this is just another instance. This place is garbage and hopefully they won't last much longer in our town.
