Instead, about 30 kids in our group bought the full-mountain ticket (about $60) even though many only used the bunny hill, or didn't ski beyond lessons. When you're coordinating a kid-heavy group, that omission doesn't feel accidental. It feels like they kept quiet so we'd pay more. Not nice at all. They need to do better.

The teak patio pieces were gorgeous- just priced a bit out of range. But we lucked out big time and scored a black metal patio set already rust-treated. A solid win. Service was outstanding. We spotted a floor model and liked what we saw. We'd asked if we could take it home- as long as they were willing to knock a little off the price for it being on display. They didn't blink. A major tip- If you're looking to rent for the entire season, do not wait until peak season because they will likely be out of many rentals by then. Be sure to start the process of renting your skis earlier in the season. However, even if they're out of rentals, they have phenomenal sales on a lot of their ski equipment and it may be a better investment for you to buy from them. Not only did they decide to help, they went far beyond the level of customer service he had ever experienced. They didn't just help him find boots that fit, they also made sure the boots would work with his skis. When it turned out they didn't, they pushed all their appointments aside to make sure everything worked so he would not have to wait any longer and could continue his road trip, and so he would not have to deal with it at the resort and pay extra fees. My five friends and I went up to Jiminy Peak Mountain for a three day ski weekend. The rentals on…read morethe mountain are not only expensive but the equipment leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of boot quality. I called ahead to reserve skis, filled out the form, and emailed it in. On arrival, we parked in a big parking lot right behind the shop, walked in, and saw ALL of our gear ready to go, name tags and all! The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He made sure the boots fit everybody, and we were out of there within 15 minutes. The shop is exactly 10min from the mountain. The quality of the boots and skis were incredibly. You could tell 'Ski Fanatics' really takes care of their equipment. I have never worn, let alone rented, such comfortable boots in my life. Most importantly, the boots were warm!! Warmth on the mountain is paramount, every skier understands colds toes. Once we got loaded up, John, the owner, told us to give him a heads up if we were going to return the skis after hours. He lives down the road and was willing to open up the shop if we needed to come in later. Finally, during the return process, John came out and helped us quickly unload all of our skies and gears. Overall, the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. It was a true 5 star experience, start to finish. I recommend Ski Fanatics for all of your ski needs. No one in our group rented snowboards so I can't speak to them.

I just had the most horrific unpleasant experience at Clarke Outdoors. my partner and I who live in…read morea motorhome parked outside and started to get our things ready to enjoy the beautiful day on the water. Unfortunately that was not the case, upon arrival into the store the manager informed us that he took it upon himself to call the state trooper on us rather than knocking on the door to ask if we were going to rent from them. As we entered the store three teenage employees greeted us. As we waited to rent from the manager he came in and stated he called the state troopers and they were on the way. Calling the police on a couple who is about to spend a good buck on your establishment is extremely unprofessional. We could tell we were not welcomed so we said "Have a nice day!" The manager proceeded to follow us at and scream profanities at us. To whomever owns this establishment please educate your staff.
