I absolutely love this place! My husband and I travel to Hickory every year to visit family, and stopping here has become one of our favorite vacation traditions. Every morning during our stay, we swing by for coffee and a pastry (or a cupcake--because who can resist?), and it's the perfect start to our day before heading out to explore this beautiful state. The staff is always so warm and friendly, and the coffee is consistently perfect. But the real standout? The bakery items. WOW! Every bite is a treat, and the quality never disappoints. I like to stop here for a coffee or sweet treat whenever I am in the Mountain View area. Staff are always friendly, attentive & greet me when I walk in. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. You can find their weekly cupcake specials as well as drink specials on their social media pages. The Buzz is my go to coffee, which is a frappe with a shot of espresso. I like to switch up flavors or try the special. Recently I had the Chocolate & Caramel Pretzel Cupcake & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also like to get their macarons, which change regularly. You can always place custom orders for any dessert or treat in advance. While this location is perfect for families as mini golf (putt putt) is available out back, it is easy to drive by or overlook it from the main road (127). The Bakery shares a building with Subway so it may be easier to spot it that way! read more

It's a cute quite little coffee shop, the service is good. They have a nice selection of iced and hot drinks.

My happy place, the service is always great. The bakery food and coffee always hit. And the ambiance is the classic small town bakery feel. The owner is always friendly and the girls are sweet. I love the cinnamon rolls and macarons and I love their light espresso. read more
