They just moved to Uptown Shelby and this place is AH-MAZING! They had $2 cupcakes all week for their grand opening! I bought 2 Cherry Lemon Sundrop, a Banana Pudding, Pineapple Cherry Cheesecake, Cotton Candy and a Orange Creamsicle cupcake. Paid almost $20 for 6 cupcakes. I had 2 of 3 different flavors. The cake was dry and bland and you could not tell the difference from one taste to the others. The icing was overly sweet and again tasted the same as on all of them. Ended up wasting 3 of them because I would not eat them. Will not be returning. read more

Stopped in on my way home from work when I spotted their sign offering cupcakes for $2.00. Found the shop very clean and tidy, with a wonderful selection of beautifully decorated cupcakes, plus various other baked treats. Took several home and what a great choice! My wife declared her cherry sun drop cupcake was the best she ever had, the cannoli was excellent and my lemon bar was moist with an intense lemon flavor. Everything was so good I went back two days later for more, and we are planning to get a birthday cake this week from them. Wonderful addition to Shelby's food scene. read more

I stopped in to buy cookies for a client and was so impressed with the quality, selection and prices that I ordered a variety extra cup cakes and cookies. So many choices! My client raved over them all and said I made their day. I've tried them twice. I am a Very picky cake person. If I can make it better why should I buy it from somewhere else. Both times that I have tried this bakery and tried different cupcakes and cookies. They are extremely dry and crumbly. I have not got one moist cupcake from here. The flavor is very off and you can tell how artificial the flavors are. I will not be back and would never recommend this to anyone. read more

Stopped in the other day to inquire about placing a cupcake order for my daughters birthday. SO MANY YUMMY looking cupcakes in the cases! My daughter ordered three dozen, varied flavors. But, I couldn't keep my eyes from the COCONUT CAKE I saw in the first case! Almost half of it was missing, and I knew it was waiting for me to try. After speaking with the owner, Karren , and her son, we placed our cupcake order for pickup on Saturday, I requested a "piece to go" of that lovely Coconut Cake. We got home, I sat down, after washing my hands, of course, and proceeded to open the box the cake was in, and took my first bite! HEAVEN ON EARTH! This cake was light, not gooey heavy. I could taste the butter in the cake, just so slightly. Then my tastebuds came alive!!! The COCONUT flavor I tasted, not only in the just moist enough cake, but the white Coconut frosting, was HEAVEN SENT!!! I was lost in nothing short of a warm fuzzy feeling, my taste and smell savoring every bite of that SCRUMPTIOUS COCONUT CAKE!!! And when I came back down from that wonderful coconut filled adventure, I realized I had eaten every bit of that generous slice of cake. My box was empty, my fork licked clean, and my stomach was the happiest it's been in awhile! I finished the last drop of the cup of coffee I had, knowing, I'd be back to see Karren in the near future for another piece of that WONDERFUL, SCRUMPTIOUS, COCONUT CAKE!!! TRUE YUUMMM!!! read more
